The main reason that the establishment does not severe ties with those countries is that
1. Many young Iranians want to immigrate to those countries, specially for education, and it will piss them off,
2. The regime itself has too many close family members in those countries.

Other than that, for the life of me, I don't understand what good having ties with these useless Eurotrash does for us.

It is understandable that normal people want to seek for a better life abroad.

However, the government officials should be prohibited to have its family members living abroad.
