You're proving my point, the Iranian attacks caused hue and cry but did little damage in comparision.
Just like Indian attacks on civilians of Punjab and AJK looked dramatic for domestic audiences but had 0 impact on Pak Mil capabilities

Ok, 10 civilians killed and one refinery damaged. That's really not much compared to what Israelis have done to Iran.The missiles did a lot of damage. Here is just one example

Offence must be effective to destroy enemy's defence else you would be relying on defence systems. In war defence only can help if offence is great. One can stop 1-2-3 then 4th would be on face.

I would say the most important lesson is don't wait for the enemy to bring the war to your door. Instead, anticipate his plans and take the war to his door proactively.
We know we are next if Iran is defeated but we are living in denial. We should be helping Iran actively and covertly -- at least with AD.
Shooting down Israeli jets would be a massive PR achievement.
I can't believe Pakistani establishment doesn't see what's coming our way -- possibly as early as next year if Iran is defeated.

Leaders can and will be killed all the time, that is the reality of war.
1 - What needs to be fixed is that there are automatic replacements of senior leaders. Replacements should not have to be nominated by the leadership. It should be based on "automatic command authority hierarchy" ..
2 - Those replacement leaders MUST be in C&C, ie the core C&C must never be left "unmanned" from someone who can make at the moment serious executive orders with full empowerment to do so.
3 - Not have any critical "choke" points in your C&C to make decisions based on pre-greed SOPs.
For 18hrs at the start of the attack, nothing happened in Iran because leaders had to be "personally nonimnated" by the Supreme Leader. That was CRAZY INSANE ...

Your top leadership being decapitated like nothing is not normal, so it's better you stop normalising quite literally every failure you see. It is a huge failure.

Lesson number 1. No way in hell India would have agreed with ceasefire if PAF didn't shotdown 6-0 of their jets on first night. India wanted to end it there. Look at Israel-Iran situation right now, only 1 party is calling for ceasefire and its not Israel.
Lesson number 2. AD and Missiles without competent airforce are sitting ducks. India in desperation fired brahmos, 2/3 were intercepted. Didn't damage much. Called Trump for ceasefire after Pakistan fired back. Utter humiliation for so called super power.
Reduce army size and increase J-35 orders to 80.

As I reported earlier, Israel has killed Iran's New Chief of Defence Staff. He took this post only 4 days ago after the previous chief was killed !! Absolutely shocking.
Now I am waiting for Iran supporters to say this is perfectly NORMAL.
