Core military capabilities themselves mean nothing without strategic deterrence which is nuclear end game. Even if IRIAF had 300 x SU-35S today it wont deter US+NATO+Israel just like IAF is not deterring IRGCAF to launch missile barrages on Israeli cities. These things work in skirmishes, creating short shock campaigns but they have limited use in a war where the enemy wants you annihilated. Such an enemy is only deterred by reciprocating annihilation threat. IRI chose to invest in missile capabilities, smart, but without nuclear deterrence of 200+ diverse yield devices firing hundreds and thousands of missiles means nothing. Who stopped this from happening? Khamenei !

Problem is if they do anything like this, it will 100% be enough ammo for them to go in. They are waiting for them to attack. Like what Saddam did to Kuwait in the gulf war.

Another factor would be to not expose too many launchers until the threat of Mossad agents inside Iran with NLOS Spikes who hunt mobile launchers and SAMs is eliminated. Eliminating this threat would open up more freedom for the IRGC missile force to operate.

Hopefully full of things that will help fend off the USA. I do think the USN navy is the weak point that the Iranians shoudl focus on targetting. The optics of a loss of an Aircraft carrier is what can push trump back if this turns into a conflict. Trump will have a hard time managing those optics with his base.

So - I hope there are some serious ass anti-ship supersonic cruise missiles being delivered, one that the Iranians can test for the Chinese.

Well, that is what my mind says.

Khamenei not going nuclear when Iran had the capability achieved decades back is a crime no one will forget easily. He is the killer of Iranian strategic deterence esp when we know he has the absolute power in Iran.

  • No Air Force
  • No Navy
  • No reliable intelligence force
  • Very few friends in the neighborhood
  • Involvement in proxy wars against your own neighbors
  • Making pacts with enemy's friends and letting their nationals operate freely in your own country
  • Covertly helping NATO allied government in Afghanistan
  • Not making the nukes based on a stupid fatwa.

And here we are waiting for the annihilation!
