That is news to me. What's the full story?? I had only heard his investigation of 'PTI corruption' made him loose favor with Khan....🤔🤔

I heard some people say the Iranians underrated Chinese offerings. But I think they actually tried to buy J10s right? But they didn't have the cash, china rejected their oil barter deal

I feel that Trump really doesn't want to get involved. He is trying to push back on the pressure to attack Iran.

They would have been uo against F35s.
Silly idea.

The airforce is israels strength. Why try to beat them on their terms? Iran has forced Israel to play on Iranian terms, ballistic missiles decimating anywhere, anytime with accuracy.

That comes later, first they need to have the serious intention of building an AF. They simply didn't have that.

Again, hindsight, even the PAF only relatively recently embraced the J-10C, PAF was interested in the J-10 since the early 2000s it was one of the competitors to F-16 block 52 but back then it simply wasn't mature enough it still used Russian engines and other components.

Because he withdrew from the JCPOA believing he could negotiate a better deal than Obama. He also called Obama a war hawk and said there would be no wars under Trump, because Trump is the best negotiator in the world.

I am talking about F-16s and F-15s. They have about 174 F-16, 66 F-15 and only 45 F-35.

J-10 could have dealt with the F-16s and F-15s, that's the bulk of the force. 45 units of F-35 could not generate the amount of sorties they are generating now. So a big percentage of stand off bomb and missiles attacks by F-16 and F-15s could have been thwarted.

Exactly the vast majority of strikes are coming from F-16s and 15s, currently even Israeli drones are operating over Iran with relative impunity so the role of the F-35 is essentially done.

It can also deal with F-35 and F-22.. It has long range BVR.. But Iran is sanctioned and i doubt it would be removed for sometime hence J10 is unlikely
