The USA should lease 4 or 5 B-52's to Israel, on a few year term, and sell Israel 5 or six GBU-57's. Let Israel decide what to do about Iranian nuclear facilities on its own. Sure B-52's are vulnerable but let Israel deal with the tactics problems of using them to deliver GBU-57's. If it takes 3 months for Israel to assimilate the B-52's into a tactical option, let the Iranians think about their choices for that long.

It is an active nuclear reactor. The fallout from that is unimaginable, like Chernobyl. Everything Israel as attacked to date is the infrastructure of a nuclear support system and refinement, and in-active reactors. A live reactor is a different problem entirely.

Separately, saw a comment attributed to Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir (no credible primary source, that I can share at least):

“There will be other difficult days ahead, but always remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki.”

So, given that the Israelis have barely gotten the US and EU to even yawn at the genocide they’re perpetrating in Gaza, and countless other major violations of international laws, what would stop them from using tactical nuclear weapons on Fordow and other sites?

Indians, in desperation boasts about the 'civilizational ties' with Iran. WTH?! The ties exist because of the Muslims of the Indo Pak subcontinent and the Zoroastrian-Hindu ties were so old, much smaller in comparison.
Iranians, on the other hand, really misunderstood Pakistan. Yes, Pakistan was in the American camp, Yes, Pakistan was in the Arab camp. But only to some extent and never to the detriment of Iran itself. Pakistanis have been extracting whatever they can from the Americans and the Arabs to fortify Pakistan against India, which is the single most important concern for Pakistan for the last eight decades. We all saw what happened in May 2025: India can't be ignored by Pakistan.

I hope Iran-Pakistan ties improve significantly after this. We can learn a lot from the missiles as well they have been very effective as far as I can see from OSINT.

If you were posed with the situation, and the world had already been at war for 6 years, would you prefer to end it quickly if given the opportunity or plan for who knows how much more bloodshed on the back half of the 1940s.

America hopefully stay out of Netanyahus suicidal legacy and stay away from wars, If Israel is contained ME can finally have lasting peace and America needs to understand that, its not Iran or Khizbullah or Khamas or Palestinians its the Israeli's that needs to be leashed for a peaceful Middle east.

Trita Parsi, who I greatly respect, said yesterday that Israel is 'emerging as a hegemon' in the Middle East. Careful words admitting the fall of Gaza, Hezbollah, and Syria have given Israel not only the extra land but removed decades old threats right next to Israel.
And if Iran decides to really rollback its pro Palestinian reach deep near Israel, then, yes, there can be a lasting peace in the Middle East where Iran joins its neighbors to its east and Eurasia and Israel becomes the hegemon of the Middle East. And America then could finally concentrate on China without exhausting its resources protecting Israel.
Not too bad a scenario for Pakistan but too bad for Arabs and the Palestinians though. It is not my wish; but it is what I see one way the Middle East sees a semblance of Peace.

Wow I never expected Iran to go toe to toe with Israel. The way Iran is violating Israel daily and causing damage is will give these Israelis 10 times to think before they make war mongering plans. Now every remaining power in the ME, such as Egypt, Algeria, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan etc should build up their MRBM and cruise missile inventory so they can pummel Israel. Missiles are cheap and can be easily produced indigenously. At the same time also invest in new 5th gen manned and unmanned aircraft to keep a balance / deterrence against Israel.

Not possible Trump will not take this expensive chance it will sink Uncle Sam's ship more rapidly.....Simply USA can't afford another war of such scale especially Russia and China opposing it.

Japan was not yet ready to surrender.

As for the Soviets, maybe. The Manhattan Project was already infiltrated by moles. Stalin had a good idea what we were up to.

The Soviets were however impressed with Dresden. That raid was specifically for them.
