Our business interests will be harmed.

And the US wants to harm China's business interests and turn China into a second USSR.

Because they have realized a hot war with China is practically impossible like the one with the USSR, but need to keep harming China's business interests across the globe.

I think the Iranian leadership also sought the opportunity to develop themselves.

And due the communication problems with China, they might choose to develop the opportunity with the west whom they were more familiar with.

However, they didn't realize that China's business opportunity with the west during the 1990-2010 was unprecedented, and this kind of opportunity will no longer exist with the west for two reasons:

1. The west no longer has the technology and manufacturing to nurture a second country like China.

2. The west is already regretful to death by allowing China to seize this opportunity to grow itself since they always believed that China can only be a copycat of their technology and having China serve as a giant sweatshop won't become a threat to them.

So Iran can only seek the opportunity with China right now, and the west cannot provide you anymore; either with the bombs from GOP or the lip service from the Democrats.

Iran´s window of developement would have been 2010-2040 but they needed peace and quiet but they were involved in proxies and what not hence that timeline lost

Why don't you get it?

As long as there is China in East Asia, the US will not dare to put ground troops into Iran. As long as the U.S. does not commit ground troops, it is impossible to overthrow the Iranian government by bombing alone.

Only after making the Iranian government feel the pain will they reflect on it and make rational choices later.

If we help the Iranian government now, the Iranians will not thank us, they will thank Allah, they will think that it is Allah who uses divine magic to make the Chinese save them, and that the Chinese are only worthy of being tools to be used by the Iranians.

I start to realize that Taiwan is becoming more like a bait for the US.

If the US can take the bait in Iran, then it should also take the bait in Taiwan.
