Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Can you come up with a reason why
Israel can have nukes but Iran can't?
Especially when they've been attacked by a nuclear power. Two nuclear powers now in fact.
To be honest, it only makes Iranian case for a nuke stronger. However very unlikely now. That time has passed. All eyes are on Iran now.

It was unthinkable to attack the little Western creation called Israel. We often heard that this was the red line that no country in the world could ever cross. Iran has crossed that red line and even normalised bombing Israeli cities on a daily basis. I agree that Iran should continue to attack Israel as long as possible and necessary. Instead of focusing elsewhere.
Bro,

Attacking Israel is one thing since Israel attacked Iran - plus regardless what people may think here, the Europeans are largely fed up of Israel because BiBi has snubbed many EU leaders when they have pushed for calm in Gaza.

But... Attacking a BRITISH base (unprovoked) will trigger Article 5. So lets be realistic and not make bravado comments like this. It makes people look immature and detached from reality.

Qatar re-opens airspace following Iran missile strikes
BBC

The General Civil Aviation Authority of Qatar has re-opened air traffic over the country following Iran's attacks on a US military base there.

In a statement posted on X in Arabic, the agency noted "the return of the atmosphere to normal".

Israel is going to go after south Lebanon up to the Litani River and my guess is it will be VERY soon. Grab, occupy, settle. That area is too close to northern Israel, is too fertile to be ignored by Israel. Israelis are already occupying even more commanding heights in Syria after 'freedom and democracy' came to Syria 6-8 months ago which many idiots here and in the world were celebrating.
Lets see if the Lebanese puppet regime will act or their failure will become a reason for Hezbollah to repair and fight.

Some Gulf states reopen air space
BBC

State media in both Kuwait and Bahrain both say they have reopened their airspace after the Iranian attack on a US base in Qatar earlier.

Authorities in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, also say its airports have resumed full operations.

IDF will up the tempo before ceasefire talks. There will be massive attacks in the coming hours/days.

Destroy the enemy as much as you can while everyone else just looks around like zombies.
Most the Americans will be watching the Kardashians or whatever their favorite flavor of Real Hosebags, errr, I meant to say Housewives, is.

It’s very unfortunate what happened to a once very prosperous Syria. I am not sad Bashar Assad is gone but I sure do not like the situation that Syria is now after his fall. He did a horrible job in handling the situation. Both sides destroyed Syria, what good is ruling over a destroyed/fragmented Syria incapable of defending itself now?

this american defense minister is somehow, too high...on the press now he is just congratulating to himself and trump how bad-ass they could be...and same answer no matter what they are asking for...lol..
That's your typical DEI white male...

Another abrupt U-turn in Trump's Iran policy

Bernd Debusmann Jr
BBC Reporting from the White House

After having previously vowed a strong US response to any Iranian attacks on US troops or assets, Donald Trump has again - it seems - opened the path to peace.

"Perhaps Iran can proceed to peace and harmony in the region," he said. "And I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same."

The tone of the post is a far-cry from his suggestion of "regime change" in Tehran earlier.

The shift - and the broader Iran crisis - is indicative of Trump's style of foreign policy, in which he seizes on new developments and quickly pivots. He prides himself on being unpredictable.

After all, he was publicly still pushing negotiations on Iran's nuclear programme just hours before US bombs struck Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan.

Nobody - perhaps except Trump himself - knows if he actually sees this as an opportunity for peace.

This may be an off-ramp for both the US and Iran to avoid further escalation.

Or, it could be a ploy to buy him time before a more forceful response.
