His comments was about Pakistan and Turkey. I also mentioned neighbors (as Turkey and Pakistan) only. Anyone with military experience or even observing experience can fully understand that nature of war where you can apply 100% your man-power and inventory is many times more dangerous. His comment was that we don't even fear Super power so what Turkey/Pakistan are? It was straight-forward reply that Super-power don't even have 20,000 soldiers at Iranian border. So imagine unlimited supply of soldiers at both sides of Iran coupled with unlimited air support. You obviously have to worry about this war a thousand times more than just an aerial war with US.
US is never going to bring a million soldiers in this theatre. But neighbors don't have to bring. They are here already with tens of thousands of armoured vehicles and all logistics as its their home.
and yes to deploy a million force from US to anywhere near Iran will cost 100s of billions of dollars. Imagine the logitical costs of bringing armoured divisons, tanks, APCs and all the gear.

Well he’s right, unless you think Israel + US combo is weaker than Pakistan + Turkey. Many of you since Oct 7th were repeating the same that Israel has nato and the U.S. behind so we can’t do anything. The mental subjugation of Muslims before even the first round was fired and was really shocking to hear.
The U.S. had 50k troops in the Middle East and not 20k. They had multiple ACs along with the Israelis jets + the Arabs. This is commonly available information so I don’t understand why you deflating the numbers. The most high tech military during our time period right on the Iranian borders.
I’m not sure if you understand order of battle or the logistic trails and supplies to run a large force. Where would Pakistan get the POL to sustain the imaginative offensive against Iran? Will you divert the strategic stocks meant for Indians in order to get involved in a fight that quite frankly doesn’t concern Pakistan even with that bullsh*t defense pact or whatever that thing is.
You said unlimited air power? There’s no such thing as unlimited air power especially with fuel shortage, long range refuelers, and dedicated, modern air bases in Balochistan - very few exists. I didn’t even bring up the Chinese factor who will remove all support from the Pakistani military if they even dare to get involved with this mess.
Fighter jets engines need overhauling for each flight hour so the thought of unlimited air campaign is laughable. You really didn’t think this through did you? If Pakistan actively gets involved in this war on the side of the Israeli and Arabs - let’s not pretend they’re not on the same side here, I can accurately predict Pakistan will cease to being a “unified” country. Luckily the Pakistani leadership is much wiser than some random commenter on this forum.
