US embassy in Qatar lifts shelter-in-place order

The US embassy in Qatar has lifted its shelter-in-place order that was put into effect earlier on Monday.

In a security update on its website, the embassy says it will reopen tomorrow and resume consular services "without interruption".

Qatari airspace is still closed, however, and the embassy cautioned those who are travelling to continue monitoring government updates.

Some Gulf states reopen air space​

State media in both Kuwait and Bahrain both say they have reopened their airspace after the Iranian attack on a US base in Qatar earlier.

Authorities in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, also say its airports have resumed full operations.

The airspace over these countries is already back to normal.



Hopefully this means its the end of it.

The fact is that it does not matter how many Israeli assets Iran destroys. What is important is for the world to see that the US cannot even protect Israel. Destroying the influence and deterrence of the US and Israel is what the US and Israel fear the most.

If Israelis were really in a position to 'finish off' Iran on their own, then Israel would have been begging Trump to come to help. And if Americans are really in a position to 'finish off' Iran without incurring too much cost to America then this tit-for-tat attack on Qatar wouldn't have been arranged.
Replace Iran with Syria and you might see a different American response.
