JF-17 - Updates, News & Discussion

Hi,

I don't disagree with your---but these will be of very limited type conflicts.

For certain types of drones---paf would need prop driven aircraft
I think the ideal solution to the hostile drones issue would be a killer drone, an AI equipped drone with a small integrated gun that can autonomously pick and destroy enemy drones.

Hi,

So---suddenly Paf has 50 JF17 BLK3's---and our german boy was counting about 25---. Guess what other surprises are in store---.
That is why you never leak unit or new equipment. Iran use to show everything on social media with bmg musics including locations and now see where they are now.

AI needs lots to do. I am in the field and I believe the programmable AI and supervised AI cant do that effectively to me Identity of friend or foe is still not effective to give drones that much autonomy. My spidey sense always believe that 100% autonomy is wrong and some sort of human input must exist. Also the cyber warfare makes it more risky.

I missed that, why do we think we have 50 JF17 Block III's ?

There have not been any images of serial number of JF17Cs that high so i dont think so !!

What really shocked me was when PA were firing the Fatah rockets into India, people were sitting right by the trucks and taking selfies on the trucks and providing real time coverage. This is a major security breach but nothing was done to ensure people don’t come near military assets during war, let alone take pictures and upload geographical information online.

Fatah are shoot and scoot, as soon as they are done firing, they move.

But yes, we are a bit of reckless nation. There is nothing much Army can do when whole village, the man and his dog, are out and about enjoying the fireworks.

It almost certainly is not, unless PAC has somehow greatly increased its production capacity and pumping out several dozen aircraft every year.

Where ? When did this happened ?
Has not happened. No point in riddles either.
Single seaters capped at 30ish and Block-3 “lite” B models added. Currently in tortoise limbo putting in additional infra for PFX and UCAV assembly.

Nothing wrong with the “halt” of block-3.
It’s very advanced but things change and certain priorities take precedence. Block-3.5 might even be what PFX(even more localized Jf-17) is.

Requirements change all the time - swift retort changed things to Bunyan Al Marsoos and it will change things suddenly again

China appears to have little interest in the JF-17, particularly after the success of the J-10. As they phase out the JF-17 production facility, why not negotiate a deal to transfer the entire facility to Pakistan’s Kamra complex? With financial incentives, we could acquire the infrastructure to fully develop the JF-17 Block III independently. This transfer would enhance our technical expertise, enabling us to modify the facility for future indigenous projects like the JF-17 Alpha and PFX.

Hi,

If it is not then it is not---but then if its then it is---.

This is a defense forum brother---not a truth forum---. We will make the enemy run in circles if we can.
