did not age very well

Even the most modern IADS in the world would not be immune to Spike anti-tank missiles!

the problem is lack of number . how many operational arnan, 15 th of khordad or bavar we had?
ow many 9th of day we had....... how many zubin or how many azaraksh

how many samavat we had to use them against drones

We had enough on Oct 28 2024 to keep the IAF outside our borders. So far I've only heard of 35 Martyrs announced from the Air defense force so hopefully that means that many systems survived and can bring coverage over western Iran.

Iran needs to focus on producing a select number of SAMs in larger numbers. All we see is constant unveilings of new SAMs without seeing them in mass operational rollout.

Our anti aircraft artillery needs work. Iran has large numbers of these AAA guns but lack the modernization other countries have shown. Any image I see of the Samavat 35mm and Zu23mm used by Iran is just dissapointing.

Compare Iran's Zu23-2 with Poland's PSRA Pilica VSHORAD.

Compare Iran's Samavat 35mm with Turkey's MKE/Aselsan GDF-003B Modernized.

Does Iran even produce AHEAD ammo?

The Mesbah AAA system, their is no evidence of it ever being mass produced and used. It was seen in unveiling and in a test demo that is it. Sa'eer 100mm wasn't bad but how many produced? Less than how many fingers on one hand.

More than a 1000 IDF drones were downed, mostly smaller Quadcopter types but also significant numbers of larger MALE ones.

I was laughed at on the forum when I talked about the importance of artillery systems like the Mesbah system, which is becoming extremely important because of the mini-drones.

This even more modernized system should be built by the hundreds and hundreds of people trained to use it. These Mesbah systems must absolutely protect every air defense system.

For me, every air defense system should be defended in a circle in all four directions by four gun groups. 8x4 = 32 guns. This is absolutely what I would do as a top priority. Between the four gun groups, there would be four soldiers equipped with machine guns to close off the sensitive area = 16 soldiers.

It is high time to properly protect every air defense system in a very intensive manner.

And how do you know that?
In Telegram channels you can see many videos of Spike missiles connected to SMS cards to fire from sare distance to TELARS coming out from their shelters.

but were all TELARS destroyed?

Who knows. But for sure enough to break the integrity of the Air Defense and allow spaces to enter high valuable assets like F35 and F15/16 in SEAD/DEAD missions.

Aside speculations, we have all seen the remote stations operated spikes and IR/TV operated short ranged guided munitions that proofs that someone fired from inside.

That "inside job" and the nearly total absence of Air Force are main problems to be fixed by IRI.

Countries who host foreign military bases can't talk about "sovereignty."
“Peaceful country Qatar” which just happens to host the USA’s largest airbase in West Asia. (I presume it’s there for peaceful purposes!)

The problem is not with quantity but quality. If there is no accuracy, then SAMs will serve no purpose. Question is - how will Iran manufacture complex radars, seekers & guidance systems? All these needs advanced semiconductor fabrication (45nm or smaller lithography). Iran may import but will always be limited by quantity.
