Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

the most hilarious claim is that Nur Khan Air Base is American Airbase, this is the wildest claim ive heard and ive been to that base lolz
They have this strong desire to look very strong and powerful and the best way to do this is insert the US in every conflict. In 1971, they spread the lie that the US naval fleet was in the Bengal bay and the Indians stopped them from interfering in the war. Now this claim that they hit a base "controlled" by the Americans to show that they are not afraid of the US. Its the Indian desire to be seen and taken seriously given how non-Indians view Indians specifically as weaklings and weird.

Yeah, what has happened over last 6 years is Indians thought air power was a good way of striking Pakistan with low risk. Yes, they lost many planes and missed but also scored some hits on the recent escalation. Next time they will use air power again, probably with similar disasterous results and now in fact will try and paint any military failure as a victory to domestic audiences. We can expect that.

What we can do now that they are hiding behind air power is what the Chinese did on Indians borders but with more force. No need to go crazy and aim for all of Kashmir or Punjab.

Bhuj, Bikaner, Amirtsar. Three places very close to Pakistan. If PAF has succeeded in pushing IAF 200km back, Pak Army now needs to show up and take and hold these town which will have a MASSIVE psycological impact on Indians. They will then have the choice of pushing IAF to counter PAF or (more likley) Modi will be on the phone again too Trump quicker then you can say "Upcoming poll results".

If IAF really are scared of our planes and missiles we need to use this advantage.
This will also put many Indian air defence assets out of operation and also mean even more Indian AD will be within SPH range of Pak armoured columns.
This is what I do not understand - everyone and their mothers knows that the Indian will attack and now they have gotten taste of attacking Pakistan so the next attack, all of Pakistan will be hit at the same time. Their goals will be to identify where the fighter jets are positioned and hopefully try to take as many out as possible since the PAF can either win or lose the war for Pakistan.

Not attacking their civilians infrastructures was a huge mistake.

There should be a plan in motion to start mobilizing groups of fighters and stationed them near the LOC and once the conflict begins, push them across the LOC into IOK. Start seizing territories as far east as possible. Make IOK the Indian center of gravity. Chances of getting the Indian army bogged down there are good as Kashmir has become the Hindu rallying point. The danger is the Indians as in the past will attempt to attack and seize Pakistan proper. Somehow Pakistan military never takes into account the war expanding to Punjab and Sindh. The Indians have always expanded the war to alleviate pressure in Kashmir.

I was listening to an American podcast where they had a Chinese-American on and he was disappointed that Pakistan missed a golden opportunity on May 7-9 to really put a hurting on the Indians. Per his account, Pakistan basically was contend with May 7 action while the Indians were brooding after what happened during May 6-7 to their air force. When you have two days of air superiority and let this advantage go to waste, its a loss no matter how many planes you shoot down. I still say, should attacked IOK and capture as much territories as possible. Then you forced them to come to the table or dare them to block the water to Pakistan. They are not in a mood to comply and won't until they've suffered a major international defeat that they can't weasel their way out of by spreading lies about fictional Pakistani losses.

For a country that turns every defeat into a victory, I think you may be right. The only way to end this is for such a shock victory and humiliation that they can never recover and will be forced to live in peace with us. We have tried everything else with them

Actually 13th May they tried to track our Maritime Patrol Aircraft and even sent an Mig 29 to intercept it, but we quickly scrambled 2 JF-17s fitted with PL-15 to go near INS Vikrant and to trail behind the Mig-29 which quickly ran away.

Thats the actual story

Probably why myself and many Pakistani members here are calling for a shift in Pakistan’s war doctrine.

We have the capability and capacity hence the posture should be from a defensive one to a more offense one.

There is no point in holding back when the adversary attacks your sovereignty.

I would go as far as saying if there is solid evidence of adversary’s movement and regrouping for an attack, PAF should switch on and not hesitate with a preemptive strike option.

We should have immediately attacked on April 29th as soon as we got intelligence an attack was coming

I thought Indians were good at maths! Assuming we believe the fiction, how is 2/9 90%?!

This is why the Indians are so brazenly embolden....

One was minor damaged at Bholari. Being repaired. That's all the loss we suffered.
Actually no, why hide that they bombed the mosque and the cricket stadiums. They came after Pakistan and people think that Pakistan came out on top? I dont think you people in Pakistan understand the PR side of the war fully. Should've cause tit for tat destruction with actual proof, not some BS claim. Even CNN use the exact verbiage "Pakistan claims it struck targets in India" which means our claims of attacking the Indians on May 10th is full of holes. Meanwhile their attacks on Pakistan are well documented. I posted the video of the bombing of the Bawahalpur* spell check, Mosque and it made me mad like no other. Why are people in Pakistan so timid?
