The whole Abrahamic accord seems Dodgy , because how can you have a Abrahamic accord if you are committing Genocide of Palestinians , are they not of Abrahamic lineage ?

Or is the real purpose of this accord is divide the Sunni world and Shia world and hope they fight each other?

Even Today , we see some contradictions
  • Houthis are called Houthis , not "Arab" they speak Arabic language
  • Iranians are called persians , not Muslim and beyond that their shia aspect is highlighted I just see them as Muslim
  • Palestinians are again viewed differently
Israeli Continue to Kill Palestinians and talk of Accord is quite confusing

If these contradictions don't exist , then it seems like nice accord

Accord should have a foundation for peace for all people


However as it is a PAF thread , we should not derail the thread, the So called accord have nothing to do with Pakistan


Pakistan's Two State Policy for Palestine/Israel is quite simple to understand , endorsed by United Nation and world

I would say everyone wants to think they know based on their personal biases what will be discussed. But at the end its pretty mundane if not for the matter of PAF wanting to prolong effectiveness of certain assets so they can “keep up” instead of having to really put them in the backseat.

Babur visit and turkeys renewed interest in the F-35 probably has some common ground. Not saying that we’re looking for F-35s but it could be in terms of US origin parts for KAAN for which both PAF and TuAF are jointly cooperating.

Pak-US military cooperation should never end though. It’s only beneficial for us to keep all the cards intact in the table. China is still struggling with their powerplant despite their marvelous progress. Turks Engine is still far away from entering service.

Besides, if we sign the Abraham accords, we should extract as much benefit out of it as possible.

Although, F-35s might probably never see PAF colors even if we had the money for it. China wouldn’t want us to and neither would the US.

It is amalgamation of words and phrases we have listened too many times in these PAF PR videos which are nothing more than personal glorification campaign of CAS instead of PAF team or as an organization. Every video has one theme... "CAS vision..." That's why they never highlight anything specific. You can watch last 5 videos where CAS met with various dignitaries in AHQ. almost every video is same.

18 new Block-72s

36 - F-16s


use current relationships to push through in cash (trump knows we have it for that)

Insist that 120D is provided - They know India is just stringing them along and has no intention of buying US fighters anymore.

F-16s serve both as potent assets - and diplomatic connection allowing participation in NATO exercises

What of the older airframes? Why should we not pursue SLEP+V or is it not economically feasible?

Really bad choice. A lot of our senior Highly experienced pilots spent most of their career on these birds. The experience we have of them along with further upgrades could give us far better punch than inducting new J-10s.

Upgrades are not forthcoming as of now. Turkish Ozgur Upgrades are available but very expensive. Something like 80m per aircraft

Hi, Turkey only has the source codes for F-16 Block 30. As such, I do not know if the Ozgur upgrade can be done on the PAF F-16s.
