PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

Maintenance on these birds will be intensive, if it’s anywhere near what it takes to maintain the B-2. I assume part of it will be automated, with potential areas of interest for a person to look at, with the assistance of AI.

So the key will be to keep an eye on the maintenance facilities that will have to be build to support the fleet.

Considering the other variant of the J-35 will go on the PLAN’s carriers, China probably has a very robust quality of baked in stealth panels plus RAM paint ready to go. It has been nearly 15 years since the first J-20 took its flight. With more than 200 J-20 in the PLAAF, Chinese industry probably has a number of formulations of RAM paint lined up for export.

The unique feature of J-35s even if compared to J-20 is the extensive use of 3D printing to build large parts of airframes into multiple large pieces instead of having lots of separate panels throughout the airframe. This would cut production costs, maintenance would be far easier and relatively faster and this does help a bit wrt RCS reduction as well.

Is China training Pakistani Pilots on J35A in Gilgit Baltistan?– IW or Reality?

Jun 3, 2025-by Rnewsauthor n Defence
A recent revelation by a Pakistani journalist on Samaa TV has brought to light that Pakistani pilots are undergoing training with Chinese instructors in Gilgit Baltistan, reportedly on advanced J-35A stealth fighter jets. This development, if confirmed, carries significant strategic implications for the region, particularly given the sensitive geopolitical dynamics involving Pakistan, India, and China. The choice of Gilgit Baltistan for this training is notable. Its proximity to the Line of Control (LoC), the de facto border between India and Pakistan in Kashmir, makes any military activity in the region highly sensitive. Training Pakistani pilots here could enhance Pakistan’s operational readiness in a potential conflict zone, particularly in the challenging high-altitude terrain of the Himalayas. Moreover, it underscores China’s growing willingness to project military influence in a region critical to its economic and strategic interests.

The J-35A and China’s Military Support

Reports suggest that the training involves Pakistan’s acquisition of 30 J-35A stealth fighter jets from China, with deliveries expected by August 2025. These jets, offered at a reported 50% discount, represent a significant upgrade to Pakistan’s air force capabilities. The J-35A is a modern stealth fighter designed to compete with advanced aircraft like India’s Rafale and Su-30 MKI.

Total fake

Deino.
this news is coming from other media mouth.
It is not mine.
It could be fake .I have no idea.

J-20 production rate is being increased to a surprising 8 day/aircraft.

SAC hasn’t got much production orders much in their plate so J-35 is gonna see a good mass production rate.

I just watched this same topic on this forum. This is rather a new channel but I know who runs it. Extremely qualified across the globe. Listen to him and give him a like for his motivation. Chinese president had told the US a couple of years ago that by 2027, China might attempt to retake Taiwan. So there is a national target to field enough stealth platforms to deter the US from interfering I guess.

China was producing near or at 100 J-20 since 2023-2024. I guess now it will be multiplied. May be 150 to 200. J-35's turn is coming soon. These robotic manufacturing lines can be reprogrammed to produce system X after a run of system Y has completed.

Pakistan should cancel all these expensive showoff and use $2 billion to set up a string of IT/software parks. With all the Gen Z talent in Pakistan in STEM, and AI Gen AI opportunities knocking, it will be a game changer.

Pakistan has an opportunity to challenge Indian hegemony in AI and software. This will attract firms like Accenture to invest massively in Pakistan.

I have worked for Accenture. I don't see them investing in Pakistan.

That is a fake document. The original can be found on the ISPR website and it doesn't mention anything about J-31.

No, that was a real document and real press release. The PAF has since scrubbed those explicit mentions of the J-31.

No one knows why they scrubbed it.

But I don't think the PAF has walked back on it either as it's the only offensive platform available to the PAF, and - in my opinion - the PAF wants to build dedicated offensive capabilities.

In fact, retired ACM Sohail Aman hinted towards the idea as well, with airpower moving into a strategic asset rather than a purely defensive or tactical one.

The dedicated offensive capability would center on the J-35AE, further supported by UCAVs (maybe Kizilelma) and loitering munitions/decoys (KaGeM V3, etc).

He would never said that, in fact, the whole 2027 thing was made up for "Chinese threat", we are in a long race with the Yankee in every fields, it's not about retake any land.

You've personally observed this or one your uncles/aunties in the military told you this?
When they would return with jets you will see it yourself. Everyone knows this our pilots are getting trained there you want to remain in denial I can do nothing about it.
