In fact, he does not say we can get the J-20. The interviewer asks "if India gets a Russia stealth platform, what are our options?" He replies "Apart from China, we really have no other option, this is clear" and the interviewer (seems to have little knowledge in aerospace matters) asks "but you said China's stealth platform is not ready" (referring to J-35) and he says "China has both the J-20 and J-35, both are stealth" and interviewer asks "if India goes that route will we get the J-20?", at this point he shrugs and says "Possibly, we can't buy an unmature platform and put ourselves at a disadvantage" — he is really not confidently claiming he has access to the J-20, it's more of an off remark that we will have to counter the other side's stealth advantage.

This is actually what happened due to immaturity of immature social media accounts and journalist with no knowledge about defence matters. They "made a mountain out of a molehill" clips of the comments by Khalid Chisti are still available on YouTube, you could ask anyone who knows Urdu to translate it word by word.

And at the last want to say that yes immature poster and social media do make drama every other day but at this forum you too somehow lower your standards quite a lot on matters related to Pakistan's defence developments (its a personal observation as we are on multiple defence forum) therefore I would request you to rather to comment in hast at least try to ask someone to post the original source and background of rumors related to Pakistan's defense developments.

If J-10CE performs well with PL-15's that we handled Rafale easily so why are we not ordering more J-10's? I mean IAF is not getting any 5th Gen fighter before 2027-28 so why are we so eager to get it? just get another sq of J10's and replace some old fighter jets, its a proven platform now and can handle anything and everything in IAF inventory.

As a platform Rafale is way better than J 10 ce and meteor is as good as PL 15....... it's the other capabilities of PAF that should have gotten the limelight . but , at least to my chagrin , J10 and pl 15 stole the limelight.

then rather than chasing J-35's why not order a 1-2 sq of J-10CE ? we still have many older Mirages and F-7PG's to replace, and soon we will need to get rid of JF17 block 1's too.

I don't, I just come to this thread for fun, few Pakistani members and one man Army @Deino Arguing over when J-35's will be coming, its just fun to read and enjoy
The most realistic people say that J-35 will come but not this year or maybe not 2026, but some people have already landed J-35's in Pakistan lOL

then rather than chasing J-35's why not order a 1-2 sq of J-10CE ? we still have many older Mirages and F-7PG's to replace, and soon we will need to get rid of JF17 block 1's too.

We need to replace our old F-16 first with J-35 and F--7P is not operational in any sqd, few are in CCS and its mor easy to upgrade and overhaul JF-17 block-1 with Chinese AESA/ latest avionics rather than to replace it with new jet let say J-10C which expensive endeavor and time consuming

F-16's are still formidable as many people have pointed out, with upgrades they can go toe toe with Rafale too, but lets see if Pakistan can grab something from Uncle SAM from this new friendly relationship, but I would def say 1 more full sq with 20 units will be a good gap for us, J-10CE is now a battle proven fighter, and adding that will replace 20 old fighter jets which can be used for other duties.
