I don't think they're going to try to take advantage of the situation, especially with the peace talks happening between the PKK and the Turkish government. Plus, it would give the Syrian government a good excuse to refuse any cooperation with the SDF/PKK. Those peace talks I have mixed feelings on, I wish they had waited until the whole PKK in Syria was dismantled. Of course if the PKK's Syria branch disobeys Ocalan and doesn't agree to disband, then they are not a party to the peace talks and can be dealt with, but it may harm the peace talks if Turkey does go after it. So we are in a catch 22, does Turkey intervence and deal with the PKK decisively or wait for this to play out via the govt, but that might take more time.

What I mean is that when they pray, they pray like all other Sunnis, they don't practice mystic forms of worship. When I see them perform salah, its the same like everywhere else in the Sunni world.
