Depends on how many interceptors the Israelis had. Another week of 10-15 ballistic missile launches per day would have been disastrous for Israel. The Wall Street Journal just confirmed this. They also confirmed that the penetration rate increased.

Same with the U.S. They used up a significant amount of THAAD interceptors:

Imagine sustained volleys of SRBM's on U.S. targets in the Persian Gulf. No way they could have defended against that. Furthermore, the 14% of THAAD interceptor stockpile is the entire U.S. worldwide stockpile. They need to keep a large reserve in case of outbreaks of hostilities in East Asia (China, DPRK) or Eastern Europe (Russia).

When you also consider the fact that Iran hit the radome at Al-Udeid Airbase in Qatar with high precision, you could draw the conclusion that the U.S. is somewhat deterred.

If they don’t, then they would say the Iranians did not want to negotiate. They were. It willing to negotiate. If you look at Russia / Ukraine, the Russians attend the meetings but nothing happens :
