I once had several Fatboy Slim albums.
I had not even heard of them until in early 2000s, in an episode of 'Sex and the City', some people were dancing on a beach in NYC area on 'Praise You'.

I have love for the 70's and as weird as it may sound, though I was born in 70's, I have a lot of nostalgia for the 70's. Early 80's like 80-82 wasn't really that different from 77 and after. The shows I watched were rerun 70's shows and my parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles home furnishing didn't really change so I can relate to the 70s era.View attachment 137054

What's this 80's fascination with those who think they are "old"?
If one is 60, one was already graduating and entering the job force when the 80's came around.
Can remember every Friday, gym class, we were taught how to dance to disco in the 70's.
Like to amuse the 20 somethings today when Staying Alive is playing at the truck stop. Still remember the moves.
They get a kick out of me finishing my grove with a finger in the air.
It's getting late. Tomorrow some yarns from yesteryears
