The weapons that the US or NATO sends to Ukraine come from Poland (by land). American ships first deliver the weapons to a Dutch port and then from the Netherlands the weapons travel across Europe and end up in Ukraine. Europe is pretty big and there are loads of ports for weapons.

Currently there are over 4000 pieces of heavy weaponry in Poland, ranging from tanks to armored vehicles. Do you actually think the US has to be on the border with Ukraine for it to work? LOL. Am I talking to a child?

Sometimes, the will to fight > weapons. The US lost in Vietnam and Afghanistan because Americans lacked the will to fight. In Donba area Russians have the will to fight after Ukrainian army shelled innocent Russian civilians for 8 years. So, as I explained, the circumstances are different. You cannot compare Russian army in Donba with Soviet army in Afghanistan. Apples and oranges.
