This is definitely not the same situation Ukraine will put Russia down much quicker than Afghanistan did re Soviet Union. Remember that conflict dragged on for 12 years. This one's only been running for 2 years and the Russian army (which is a laughingstock of the world) has already bled almost half a million troops. Time's on Ukraine's side no need to hurry.

Isn't Russia at war with the evil West? So far, the West hasn't lost a single soldier while the Russians are getting completely hammered. We're helping Ukraine with arms deliveries and financial aid and Ukraine is erasing Russia instead of us. I'm cool with that.

Last week, Europe approved a new aid package worth $60 billion, and Congress will soon follow suit. So don't worry about Western aid it's gonna keep flowing, no doubt about it. It's just too good a deal to let slide.
