Chengdu J-20 5th Generation Aircraft News & Discussions

F22 is like a assault rifle while J20 is like a sniper rifle. Both are great for their own unique roles.

In an event of a true conflict, the US will operate through its CBG's, plus Guam, Japan, Philippines, South Korea, Australia, and Indian Nicobar islands and plus over two dozen large attack submarines.

There are a couple of large Islands right around the second Island chain that the US has never used.

India will not directly participate in the war with China due to its fear of losing a few states towards the Tibet side in the chicken neck region.
You're overthinking it. If South Korea dares to intervene in a war over the Taiwan Strait, they will suffer a devastating blow. South Korea's territory is small, and its bases are limited. Long-range rocket artillery alone can cover its entire territory, and their navy and air force will be quickly annihilated. The two heavily armored corps in northeast China will join the North Korean army in entering South Korea, ending the division of the Korean Peninsula.

Japan's long-range attack weapons are limited. Unlike the ignorant Japanese public, the Japanese government is well aware of the vast disparity in military strength between China and Japan. They don’t dare to do so unless the US military attacks China. The Japanese government's current strategy is to use the Taiwan Strait issue to drag the US government into a war with China. But the problem is that they are playing with fire. They are very likely to become a country that has been bombed by nuclear weapons again since World War II. We have no moral burden in using nuclear weapons against Japan. After all, World War II killed tens of millions of our people.

As for the Americans, they know that, beyond harassment, their greatest capability is a naval blockade along the second island chain, Indonesia, and the Indian Ocean. This is the essence of their recent "Troops Return to the Pacific" military exercise. If they enter the second island chain and the South China Sea to fight, what awaits them will be a massacre. The name sounds very nice. The Pacific Ocean is so big that retreating from Japan to Hawaii is also called returning to the Pacific Ocean. After all, Hawaii is also in the Pacific Ocean.

Boys----

there is chatter that China is planning to offer J 20 to India as a competitor to F 35 and Su 57.

I have no comments ........but it's a 100 Billion deal...so...I wonder.....

Well , there were surprises for sure. Has Rahim Yar been activated again.
Yes activated (it was not a military airport btw).
Just let me know when France is providing you 4 Rafales (worth 1 billion usd) to make it again 36 units?
Also let me know when will Shivangi and other 6 dead pilots will get recognized and honored. A pilot is most valuable asset of a country.
Also my condolences to Ram Kumar babu the dead operator of S-400 and other his fellows died when Pakistani missiles cooked two of your cheeseburger radars. Hope Russia is not that tied from her own war to provide you people replacements you ordered.
Also my condolences to you for your soldiers killed at Uri....
BTW i forget about Bias storage facility... I hope you will make it again after few years of hard work and tons of money and all those hundreds of Brahmos missiles destroyed are again put to the storage (to be destroyed again).
I will not say anything about "deceased" Su-30 mki, Mirage 2000 and Mig-29 as it will be too much for you to handle.
P. S. Pay my regards to "Narendar surrender".

CCTV officially announced the J-20's supersonic cruise capability in the first episode of tonight's documentary. The J-20 possesses supersonic cruise capability even when using the WS-10C, and boasts the highest supersonic cruise speed among stealth fighters when using the WS-15. It was also officially announced that the rear seat of the J20S is used to command drones and other combat formations.

J-20
300-380 aircraft
A total of 400 aircraft is coming into view.
Operational units have increased from 11 air brigades to 14 air brigades. Note that this includes only those clearly confirmed, and there are 2 or 3 additional units where deployment is strongly suspected.
While the production pace of the J-20 has been gradually increasing, it is highly likely that it has already entered full-rate production (FRP), and with current facilities, an annual production rate of about 100 aircraft is considered likely.
J-10
Over 630 units. However, older models are gradually decreasing in number due to retirement, transfer, or losses from accidents, so the total production number holds little value beyond itself.
This year, the production of the export-model J-10CE has been more prominent than the new production of the J-10C. The production line has already been scaled down, and it is believed that deliveries for the PLA have been minimal.
J-16
Over 400 aircraft. Close to 450.
The maximum number currently clearly confirmed is Batch 15 production aircraft. In reality, Batch 17/18 is said to be the latest, but it has not yet been confirmed.
Last year at the same time, only up to Batch 11 had been confirmed, but shortly after, Batch 12 was confirmed, so the same is likely this year.
J-15
Over 150 units.
A fully upgraded J-15T model, compatible with catapult launches, has been newly identified in large numbers.
The maximum confirmed number so far is 70 units from batch 4 production, captured during a CCTV visit to the Shenyang production site.
Including older models, two-seater variants, electronic warfare variants, and testbed LRIP units, even accounting for losses, a total of 150 units is certain.
Mass production and unit deployment of the J-35 and J-35A have been confirmed.
While specific numbers are currently unclear, it is expected that production of the J-35, intended for carrier-based aircraft units preparing for commissioning, will gradually accelerate in addition to the earlier-started production of the J-35A for the air force.
Construction of a new massive production base in Shenyang is also progressing, and the pace is expected to increase in the future
