Thanks for the compliment. Which also means I can see where it is a purely politically motivated rant on relationship versus actually making a point.
Just because your god got screwed over by the establishment doesn't mean this was the worst deal for Pakistan nor was any comparison to Israel realistic in ANY Intelligent human's mind other than a cultist running out of arguments.
It is possible that someone other than the establishment - even someone via PTI could have gotten a better deal but it would not be some massive change on the dollar. If anything, considering the total enemy status Pakistan had with the US in the first Trump admin during the initial months and then complete ignored during the Biden years despite proverbial Nabi Khan charms - this establishment for all its bumbling, destruction of democracy and total compromise for personal needs still managed to secure a pretty decent save for Pakistan considering the current environment and the overall expected capability of this military government with the noonie facade.
So many other intelligent PTI supporters have acknowledged this - but complete brainwashed cultists have not.
oh hell, you brought your hate out, buddy? You say it’s just “politics” as if that makes it acceptable to bury truth, brush injustice under the carpet, and pretend we don’t all know exactly who won and who lost the election.
Let’s stop playing games.
We both know the current regime has no public mandate.
The party now in power got just 17 seats and somehow they’re running the country.
Meanwhile, the man who clearly won the election with the people’s overwhelming support is in prison. That’s not politics. That’s a hostile takeover of democracy.
This isn’t about PTI or Imran Khan. This is about legitimacy, plain and simple.
It’s about a general-turned-Field Marshal, who installed his preferred puppets after Pakistanis rejected them at the ballot box.
You say it’s politics.
I say it’s a national betrayal.
Because let’s talk about the real cost of the deal you’re so eager to praise:
Pakistan was handed a “deal” by the Americans not because of strength, not because of smart diplomacy, but because this regime was willing to stay silent on Palestine, normalise relations with Israel, and serve as a geopolitical pawn once again.
Why now?
Because America cannot operate in the region without Israel. And to ease Israel’s growing isolation, they need Muslim countries to fall in line. That’s the price of this so-called “deal” our voice, our principles, and our sovereignty.
So no, this isn’t a strategic victory.
It’s strategic submission.
When you applaud this regime for negotiating a deal, understand what you’re really endorsing:
• The rape of democratic mandate
• The imprisonment of the elected leader
• The abandonment of Palestine
• And the return of a corrupt elite backed by boots, not ballots
Smartness isn’t about twisting words to sound rational.
Smartness is knowing the difference between diplomacy and disgrace.
So let’s be clear:
You know who won. You know who lost.
You know what was traded. And you know who benefits from pretending this is normal politics.
This is not governance. This is occupation in civilian clothes.
And history will record it exactly like that.
