Why do we not using same tactics against BLA. They Must be hunted in same way.
Operations like these work well when they're travelling in open terrain that make them easy to target.

But a lot of the time they make an effort to blend in with civillians through urban centres, often with support of local elements, which make it difficult to properly identify and target them without significant collateral damage to property and life.

The United States has designated the Balochistan Liberation Army’s (BLA) sub-group, the Majeed Brigade, as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation (FTO).

In a statement on Monday, the US State Department said the Majeed Brigade has also been added as an alias to BLA’s earlier designation as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) entity.

BLA was first designated as an SDGT in 2019 after a series of terrorist attacks. Since then, the group has claimed responsibility for further attacks, including those by the Majeed Brigade. In 2024, BLA claimed suicide bombings near Karachi airport and the Gwadar Port Authority Complex.

In 2025, the group said it was behind the March hijacking of the Jaffar Express from Quetta to Peshawar, which killed 31 civilians and security personnel and saw more than 300 passengers held hostage.

The State Department said the latest designations underscore Washington’s commitment to countering terrorism. It added that such measures help curtail support for terrorist activities.

According to the statement, the designations were made under Section 219 of the US Immigration and Nationality Act and Executive Order 13224. They will take effect upon publication in the Federal Register.

This is criminal murder and whoever is in charge of such mishaps happening for the past 5 years needs to be hanged

I don't care how much of a loyalist boot licker you are sending soldiers to their demise without a fighting chance inside Toyota tin cans is murder.

Why doesnt any General or Brigadier or Colonel ever die in these attacks ? Always jawans and junior officers. Must be very demoralizing for the ranks.

This is also part of why CPEC is a flop. Another feather in cap of khakis.

Small Convoys are usually led by Kaptaans / Laftaains or even JCOs.

By the way, there has been an incident involving a 2 star getting hit in an IED attack on his vehicle as well. Maj Gen Sanaullah Niazi.

Everytime its same story. Vehicles getting ambushed. What's really wrong that it keeps happening?
Because someone keeps crying hamare paas paisa nahi hai, yeah right you twerps you spent all that money just to build a useless box around Toyota tin cans but can't provide troops with proper MRAPs

As long as the stupid generals keep sending soldiers out in toyota tin cans this will keep happening.

It's not hard to ambush a tin can Toyota you hide behind a mud wall or even some minor elevated position & you have blood on your hands.

Hang these stupid generals.

Even if we take these limitations as valid. I think little work out can still be done. Just some fukin SOPs of No Unprotected Convoy Movements without cover from air.

Avoid the movements of small convoys to the max unless extremely critical. Do the movements through lesser, bigger and more protected convoys.

What they need is to procure emergency hard shell vehicles that can withstand such ambushes HIT keeps signing TOT for different MRAPs with foreign countries yet all we see is them advertising it on their assembly line.

The truth is the higher ups do not care & neither should we these people are beyond useless.
