Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

Apparently, the FATAH-4 was also displayed outside Jinnah Stadium. This would mark the first time the system has been unveiled to the public (it had been previously acknowledged to be in development). Interestingly, it bears a striking resemblance to the Harbah-NG, a subsonic, sea-skimming cruise missile.

I watched its pics someone sent me. I had the same reaction, this looks like Harbah or a Tomahawk older blocks. I was expecting Fatah series to retain a rocket shape :).

Could they have merged the Harbah project into Fatah?

Another subsonic missile. With this, I believe we now have some 4-5 types of subsonic missiles.

It's probably babur but for actual conventional use, bit weird that they would name it F-4 though.
it makes sense. theyve branched fatah into two derivatives

conventional:
fatah series, army use, non nuclear strictly
nuclear:
babur (fatah 4)
abdali (fatah 2)
nuclear only, via SPD

But isn't this Fatah 4 a conventional weapon, establishment linked accounts are saying it's going to be for army use.

It's a rebranded Harbah. No new tech.

What are your opinions on range and speed? 700km at Mach 0.7, is this pushing the peak of subsonic cruise missiles?

Seems lacking.

Indeed,
Non nuclear weapons will be under army control

Interesting that it is with the 2 Arty Div (central comd) instead of ASFC or SPD.
Such deep strike capabilities at corps lvl... Although it opens up many options at that level but what about the escalation ladder?
The escalation ladder has already been climbed now anything but strategic ballistic missiles will be used

How can you judge all by simply looking at an image, for one it doesn't seem to have that belly intake like HARBAh or BABUR.

TEL is same as Babur cruise missile too.

My understanding is FATAH series is just name for longer range non nuclear precision weapons.

First missile will be tested under SPD under their designation than army will pick and choose from tested platform. Get conventional versions of nuclear options. Slap that FATAH branding.
