let's say as of now India cannot afford to admit the scale of IAF losses.

real thing to look for is how many PAF jets were committed (well known) 42 atleast we are sure that 18 x J10CE were involved. PAF officially credits J10 with kills - correct

so we need to understand if even if 9 x J-10CE took shots in Kill chain out of 18 in air and lets assume each J10CE made two-four successful hot grinds.
that means 36 x missiles fired. now if we take average (very conservative 30% assured kill) that means at least 10 kills

what ever was damaged or destroyed - is easily replaceable for PAF (equipment wise)

now think - 36 aircraft fleet lost at least 8 that's a big hit on operational planning.
