If dictator Musharraf had actually listened to Imran Khan and not joined US war on terror in 2001, there wouldn’t even be any TTP in existence in the first place…

We have only 2 options in Afghanistan.

One is Taliban, a declared established power in Afghanistan. Which took control of Afghanistan in matter of hours. They did it because they enjoy massive local support. They are also largest ethnic group and whole population of KPK belong to that group too.

Second is northern alliance. The ones who partnered up with india, abuses & humiliated us at world stage. Gave india a free pass in Afghanistan. ISPR cried a lot during that period and said india using Afghan soil. all those press talks of NDS / RAW nexus and all.

Now to freshen up your memories, those claims of ISPR were legit. India and northern alliance were partnering up against Pakistan. NDS / RAW were funding TTP.

Just imagine why TTP would blow up our AWACS ? They don't have an airforce. Use basic common sense. Those AWACS are force multiplier that are primarily used against india only. Why TTP would put so much effort and months of planning to destroy specifically our AWACS aircrafts ?????

Then Why TTP would blow up our anti-submarine aircrafts??? Do TTP have submarines ??? Its clear cut TTP were in hands with NDS/RAW operating from afghanistan. All that bullshit has come to an end when Taliban defeated allies of india that Northern alliance.

I don't like Taliban. I dislike them for their cave and ultra religious mindset. I hate them for banning women education and not doing anything against TTP. But we don't have a better option in Afghanistan. We only have a worst option in Afghanistan.

I'll do you one better, buddy. If Musharraf didn't listen to Imran Khan in 2001, why did Imran, the most principled man in politics supported Musharraf in referendum in 2002?

Well, I can talk about myself. You can read through my forum history for last 16 years, I have always been against Taliban's coming back into power. Those who thought that Taliban would actually control TTP were always wrong.

TTP's operations even in the early 2010s were all coordinated with Taliban. TTP used to provide manpower for a lot of attacks in Afghanistan and Taliban are now returning the favour.

Those who brought TTP terrorists back to our country and started the negotiations in 2021 are all traitors of this nation, no matter where they were sitting at that time, Abpara, GHQ or the PM House.

Incorrect analysis. I will prove it why.

Why TTP or Taliban would even bother about our AWACS aircrafts. Only those should be bothered by it who have active airforces and fighter jets. Yet TTP destroyed our AWACS in a very planned attack in whcih many of its fighters got killed. It was not the Taiban behind that attack. It was India (RAW / NDS operating from Afghan soil)

Similarly, WHY would TTP or even Taliban bother about our antisubmarine aircrafts ?? They don't have submarines or even navy or even a Coast ??? Again they were operating not for Taiban commands But RAW's commands operating ffrom Afghan soil with partnership of NDS and official support of Afghan govt.

Taliban are not 'not doing anything against TTP'. They are actively supporting TTP.

Can't disagree on that. It is what it is and my hope is that there is education, poverty alleviation, peace in Afghanistan AND in their counterpart pockets in Pakistan to evolve to the next stages of human evolution: To be more tolerant, peaceful... What else can be done until then but to neutralize them as they come to harm the vast majority of Pakistanis who are not like them??

Later, when Musharraf began using accountability for political victimization, same Imran became the first to oppose him and didn’t even run in elections under his regime in 2008.

I vaguely recall General Tariq Khan, who has great knowledge of Pakistan-Afghanistan, once saying that Pakistan's security analyses had concluded that there is no difference between the Afghan and the Pakistan Taliban.

Exactly this. And I am criticizing Imran Khan for the same reason. The whole thread is about Imran Khan being pro-Taliban. He's literally calling our army chief as anti-taliban, like it's an insult.

Imran Khan’s mistake as I have mentioned before is believing and calling Pakistan’s military as "our people". He is rotting in prison for a reason.
