Few months ago I wrote , on this forum, in catagorical terms that it's not south china sea anymore it's middle east that's becoming the playground between China and America .... Pakistan is going to be Chinese spear in the region.... it's not going to happen overnight, give it a few years.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi once said that Pakistan is China's Israel. This statement is absolutely correct. Israel is the nail that the United States uses to divide the Islamic world, while Pakistan is the glue that China uses to hold it together.

Pakistan should fulfill its mission of faith and world peace and contribute to the peace and unity of the Islamic world.

Pakistan is the only country capable of uniting Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Iran, the only one that can provide a nuclear counterweight to the alliance, and the country with the best relations with China, able to leverage China's power to counterbalance US pressure. At a time when the entire Islamic world hopes for unity, if Pakistan does not step forward and fulfill its historic mission, it will be a betrayal of all expectations.

This defense agreement is pretty late tbh we all know from years Arabs don't have in them what is required to deter a Israel like mad dog.

I had carefully said in a post above: 'Honor' and 'pride' are very important in Arab culture, probably more than in any other culture of the world. A President Biden may threaten to make MBS a 'pariah' but would still go to KSA to try to get some benefits for America. A Modi kept mum while Trump kept insulting India over the post May 2025 India-Pakistan conflict. A Pakistan kept literally attacked by America for 20 years during the American presence in Afghanistan but Pakistan kept smiling and biding its time. A Putin sidesteps the Turks shooting down its fighter jet over Syria. But the Arabs, especially the GCC rich Arabs, are a different breed of people. And Israel went too far when it attacked one of their family members like Qatar. And Israel threatened to repeat such attacks. The Attack Dog certainly has turned a Mad Dog to the Dog and America's determinent. And the recent America+Israel vs Iran conflict showed that even a middle power like Iran can fight back--I don't think the Arab world didn't notice that.
More and more Pakistani analysts are coming to see the Pak-Saudia agreement as a watershed moment, which it indeed is.

An economically strong Pakistan is now in the strategic security interests of Saudia Arabia as that is what is required for Pakistan to be able to buy weapons. Saudia Arabia is now tied to hip of Pakistans economy.

Saudia should or will I hope redirect actual investments into Pakistan now ..

I don't believe in this being mutual security. It sounds like a one sided deal.

In a future confrontation with India I have complete doubts over any of the gulf states being supportive towards Pakistan. They will remain impartial at best.
