So how efficient was a peaceful, Buddhist country like Sri Lanka when it became a laughing stock of the world with its recent fiscal default, and that too with much better human resources AND with no external enemies?? Anyone wants to guess where the 'revolutionaries' in Bangladesh and Nepal are going to lead their respective countries to? They too don't have very large, powerful India breathing down their necks, unlike Pakistan does. So all those countries had plenty of time to focus on their economy--but they are not in a great situation, to say the least.

When will Pakistanis ever give credit to Pakistan despite its extremely challenging geopolitical situation, its very large population with low human resource indices, and its relative lack of natural resources??

Of course not, but USA is committed to Israel... in fact Israel is holding America as hostage via its Pedo Politicians and Child Groomers in Evangelical church who are die hard fan of Jews. If America had stopped Qatar Attacked, it would've help America a lot in the eyes of Arabs, meaning America was paid to protect these countries and they did it, I don't want to into details on how America wanted Hamas in Qatar so its not their fault, but America knew that Netanyahu F'd up big but they can't do anything about it. America is more compromised than any other country on planet earth, the people don't care because their politicians sell them the same BS.

Right. But when a country's political system gets hijacked by a remote power, then irrational decisions are to be expected. There is too much of the Evangelical Christian Stupid, too much of the AIPAC for America's own good. And America's power and influence in the Middle East is unravelling in front of us all: Americans, as I perceive the geopolitics, are becoming a toothless tiger in the Middle East and that is no small thanks to Israel. Americans would rightly 'pivot' toward China in the so-called 'Indo Pacific' but the wonderful Israel Lobby, ably helped by the Beltway Leeches of Washington DC and the stupid Christian Evangelicals, are undoing America's geopolitical interests.

In all seriousness we should stay away from UAE, Dubai is basically a open base for MOSSAD and CIA, and emirati's are C-word. I understand KSA/Qatar maybe Kuwait but we should not offer any such agreement to UAE.

Very very interesting scenario.
Militarily Pak doesn't need much from KSA. On the other hand it can provide a lot of help to KSA in this regard through training and active involvement.
On the other hand Pak can benefit seriously by the Saudi investment in defence and economy. Saudi influence in arab world and on the diplomatic front would also be very important.

Pakistan's worst economic situation is our own doing, when the majority of the nation chooses their leader based on their cast and not on their merit, then they deserve the situation they are in. Stupid must suffer.

What does the word "Mutual " mean:
1. Will Pakistan go to war against the Houthi since Saudi Arabia is currently bombing them?
2. Will Pakistan fight Iran in case Iran & Saudi Arabia go to war?
3. Will Saudi Arabia fight India if India attacks Pakistan again ( likely scenario). ?
4. Likely scenario : Despite an Israeli ultimatum, Saudi Arabia does not expel the Palestinian Mission and agree to cut off all ties with the PLO. Israel attacks and kills the Palestinian staff in Riyadh since they are "terrorists" Will Pakistan go to war with Israel?

A new round of war in the Middle East is being prepared, Israel will not allow the Arabs to form a coalition, and the Arabs will not let this American nail get closer to themselves.

I don't believe in this being mutual security. It sounds like a one sided deal.

In a future confrontation with India I have complete doubts over any of the gulf states being supportive towards Pakistan. They will remain impartial at best.

India simply offers more trade benefits than Pakistan. Why to then blame Arab countries to try to make some bucks off India? And yet, to the best of my knowledge, the GCC Arabs have never actively worked against Pakistan. Even in the recent India-Pakistan conflict of May 2025, the rich Arab countries, in order to minimize their considerable investments in India, asked Pakistan to not retaliate against India.
I don't believe any Arab country--whether the citizenry or the leadership--really like India especially after the Indian duplicity over the Gaza war. The Gaza war has provided Pakistan a huge 'opening' to exploit because of Modi's stupid, too ideological policies, to try to get the Arab jobs and $$. And Pakistanis need to be laser focused on that opening, given due to Modi's stupidly vocal policies.

Saudi Arabia has already said it will continue to strenghten its relationship with India, so don't expect Saudi troops to come and fight in Kashmir and Punjab, or on the Aghanistan border, for that matter.

This is a one-sided agreement that the Saudis are using to signal to the US and Israel. Given the situation in the Gulf, it is very likely that Pakistan would soon be fighting Saudi wars. The brilliant Pakistani leadership has effectively sold long -term life insurance to a stage 4 terminal cancer patient. The claim might come due before they collect even a single insurance premium.
