yes i agree. usa failed to assured safety of middle east and israel did real damage . to counter these usa allow pakistan ksa pact . whan a third party come then israel have to think about its action. so trump could control israelad behaviour some way and ksa has trust on pakistan and pakistan can deliver.its not offensive pact its defensive . thanks@maxpane mentioned this point and you elaborated it. This is exactly what I was thinking. That Trump is 100% trapped into subservience of Israel but he hates it. He particularly dislikes Netanyahu, but can’t do anything to stop him, so he asks Asim Munir to do something.
The pieces of the jigsaw are starting to fall into place to solve the puzzle. SAM (Syed Asim Munir) met Trump privately, then he came to the US a second time, now he’s coming again in a few days. Whatever is going on is with US approval.
We also need to remember that the Pakistan military has good relations with the US military. This is the branch of the US government that is the least controlled by the Israeli lobby. They may have told Trump to work with SAM.
It may be a way to slow down Netanyahu without incurring the wrath of the Israeli lobby.
Pakistan shouldn't hold back incase of any misadventure. Drill them a new arsehole.....

These are small splinter cells inside intelligence. If you remember, when US army test Pak intelligence by sharing active hideouts location and prep for strike, by the time ready to hit , insurgent escape .Google some.

Before a Senate hearing on Thursday, Admiral Mullen stated definitively that Pakistani intelligence was supporting militant extremists in Afghanistan as they launch attacks on US forces there.
"The Haqqani network, for one, acts as a veritable arm of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence Agency," said Adm Mullen.

It's a strange relationship, not of equals, but of patron and client. Pakistan needs Saudi Arabia rather than the other way around. That's a dependency no country should be in, but Pakistan never learns. India's transactional relationship with Saudi Arabia would be preferable. The truth is the Pakistan - KSA ties are time tested and strategic in nature, unlike the purely transactional relationship India has with the gulf. What will Saudi Arabia do for Pakistan? We dont need saudi soldiers on our front line, we want a steady oil shipments , diplomatic leverage and financial support ( which we are already getting, despite our conflict with India, despite KSA investment in India).
What is wrong with the constant Indian hatred for anything remotely related to Pakistan? At one hand many of you claim that Pakistan is a "lost" part of India but your actions and viewpoints show nothing but hatred. It's a strange relationship, not of equals, but of patron and client. Unfortunately, both India and Pakistan see through a religious lens, especially India nowadays. They think Muslims getting together for any reason is against them. If China says something nice about Pak, China is the enemy. If Turkiye sells weapons to Pakistan, Turkiye is the enemy. BTW, they don't openly declare China an enemy. What is wrong with the constant Indian hatred for anything remotely related to Pakistan? When will you lot understand that nobody in the Arab world or Middle East as a whole is "out to get India" and that, in the case of KSA (Arabia) and the Arab world, ties with WHAT IS TODAY India (generally) have been cordial and limited to trade and people to people exchanges since the time of the IVC and until to this very day. I already explained this in detail earlier in this thread.
Even users from Pakistan, who posted videos of the former Indian ambassador to KSA (Muslim) was speaking about 5000 + year old peaceful and largely cordial ties.
KSA and Pakistan are long-term allies (that even your government publicly admits) and everyone knows about, strategic allies since practically the beginning.
What is your problem with KSA and Pakistan joining hands? This is a defensive agreement, most likely aimed at the rapid murderous Zionist apes that your government, most important people (non-Muslim Indians) seem to love.
What did Arabs do to you for you to support the Zionist crimes against Palestinians?
250 million Indian Muslims have nothing but mostly love for KSA. Most Indians in KSA are Muslims and are nothing like you anti-Muslim lot.
I wish more Arabs (because few of us are exposed to anti-Muslim Indians) would see how some of you guys behave.
Grow up, neither Arabs nor Pakistanis are your enemies. The hatred seems to be very one-sided and the derailing of this thread is very annoying.
