The US has strategic interest in us called "Antimony". It is a sub-element of a mineral used in almost ALL defense industries of today's age in every weapon. One of it's super critical use in a compound form is "heat resistance". All weapons need that, especially the high velocity one's. China has banned some rare earth's including this. Pakistan has plenty of it. So the US needs an alternate supplier to keep its industry going in a conflict with China.

Secondly, we are essentially an accepted net new security provider in the region. With backing of Saudia and China and with good relations with Iran and Qatar, etc. The US had heard our proposal directly. Israel also knows it's a defensive pact.

Note, since this pact is signed, Netenyaho came and bashed China directly, but he hasn't made ONE statement on Pakistan. Why? Because he knows the lines! Unless something major is needed, they'll avoid pointing to Pakistan and vis-a-vis, we'll keep saying "it's not against Israel". Think about this some more.

Its impossible. They can't even defang North Korea and they have been completely cut off for decades.
