Pakistan Ordinance Factories - POF

Management at the POF just wanted to keep their jobs so they came up with the joke of the rifles such as CW and BW series. Like what the hell they cant even make polymer mags for G3 or add some picatinny rails or add collapsable buttstock for G3 and MP5, hell they are still using steel mags for CW rifles in 2025

Pakistan Army Trials and the Resurgence of the Roller-Delayed Blowback

The article by Russian firearms expert Vladimir Onokoy states that the resurgence of this Roller delayed Blowback system reflects Pakistan's strategic intent to leverage existing manufacturing capabilities. By utilizing roller-delayed blowback designs, POF can capitalize on its established infrastructure and expertise, potentially reducing development costs and time. This approach also signifies a move towards indigenization, enhancing self-reliance in defense production.

Yea those rifles that pof developed are sh*t and rejected by all armed forces department

They should just convert and make modern tweaks with their existing g3A3 like Sweden did

Honestly, the domestic user market for assault rifles is so huge, that liberalizing policy can lead to several foreign OEMs setting up shop and manufacturing from within Pakistan, all outside of POF. Ditto for scopes, sights, grips, etc.

True that, there is huge potential in our private sector and we can do much better in small arms manufacturing etc. Recent we've seen ssg operators with new PC from raadtac called Batur EDPC 1.0/2.0 and those eud cases are not just for show apparently our own version of Atak/itak is underdevelopement by NRTC.

and its probably better too u support small companies , they compete with each other . no army ret generals to ruin it , also they can sell them to public to decrease the program cost .also discourages them from making guns for terrorists .
