we did reliable afghan osints and their own news networks like Amu confirmed itthe fact that they retaliated today tells me we did kill Mehsud , or else it would have been nothing like few weeks ago when we attacked them with drones
Theory: Our army has been quiert abt the afghan op because there could be more airstrikes tonight or drone strikes
yeah the drones were still there in the morningThat's what I gathered too, OPs are ongoing.
Let us be realistic. It may have been seen as a military necessity, but let us not pretend it is some strategic masterstroke against India. It is a victory for RAW if the situation reached a state where Pakistan was left with no option but to carry out airstrikes in Kabul. If it foils any Indian plans that is a bonus, but right now troops are being killed everyday and these Talibs are complicit, possibly participating

Those are valid questions- it isn’t enough to just say that we killed X to avenge Y, we also have to care as much, if not more, about how to prevent future attacks and that is what most people asking about ‘what comes next’ are alluding to.All those asking what we have gained in x term or y term - go look the parents of the martyrs in the face and say that.

Do you have unlimited supply of American weapons, money, intelligence and diplomatic protection ? Otherwise Israel cannot do much.Exactly this. If Israel can do this to Iran and Hezballah Pak should be able to with Talibs

Take for example Hamas and Israel - the Israelis have gone mad and are essentially carpet bombing an entire occupied people to eliminate Hamas, have taken out most of Hamas leadership and Hamas continues to exist. Pakistan can’t (and shouldn’t) do what Israel has done, so while I understand the emotions behind exacting revenge, don’t ket those emotions cloud your judgement to the point where you’re dismissing reasonable and justified concerns over long term strategy.
Reminds of the Pied Piper of Hamilon, a very famous story for the kids with tons of lessons. The Pak Deep State helped them to get into the power. It can bring them down too.....Keep bombing them. Close Kabul airport down. Show them strength niw, we spent too much time on words.
They seem to have mistaken their prowess at Guerilla warfare for being a power. No need to use troops, use the entire country as a testing ground as far as I am concerned.
Close goods trade, declare No Fly Zone over their entire country.
See how quickly they will kneel.
Actually 50 years have been wasted supporting one proxy after another in Afghanistan , all in pursuit of strategic depth. Perhaps military means is not the answer ?Israel also destroyed Iranian proxies in Lebanon and Syria. Iran had surrounded them. India and taliban proxies operate in a similar way.
Remember Solemani was India's man. Him and Doval share similar strategies. India has always been part of this pariah rogue state nexus that uses cross border state terrorism as a tactic.
A military threat always requires a military solution. Like any organisation, disrupt its decision making and supply, it will soon crumble.
The question is, does Pakistan have the will to defeat them? How badly do they want to become a strong economic power that can bring peace and prosperity to its people?
20 years have already been wasted.
Yes it’s a must now.Exactly this. If Israel can do this to Iran and Hezballah Pak should be able to with Talibs
Hezbollah exists, Hamas exists, and again, Pakistan can’t use the same approach as Israel of bombing without concern for civilian casualties. The Israelis have also essentially walled off their territory (easier to do with their geography and size), which is not feasible for Pakistan.Israel also destroyed Iranian proxies in Lebanon and Syria. Iran had surrounded them. India and taliban proxies operate in a similar way.

If Kabul has indeed been struck, RAW now has the Afghan Taliban as a new direct proxy.O would argue RAW is already having a victory support TTP/BLA and killing our troops.
You didnt. I was responding to those who said this would hurt India very badly. When did I say this was a masterstroke against India?
