Solid solid post!In general, there are a number of plausible explanations for not attacking every single "convoy" of enemy vehicles despite visual confirmation from e.g. a surveillance drone or even human intel on the ground.
Not least, there is always an "opportunity cost" of instant engagement to be considered - I.e. does one attack a convoy immediately upon sight, or does one allow it to lead to a larger rally point, or to some natural choke point, where they may merge with other forces and/or be even more exposed to our fire?
I recall footage from the Ukraine/Russia fronts where Ukrainian teams would wait and wait and wait for just the right moment to strike a vehicle convoy in order to ensnare the enemy fully, to trap them with fire at BOTH ends, and cause the entire convoy to become stuck in a closed fire zone.
Chill my friend..... your rants are like cries of a five year old badgering her mom for more chocolate. We didn't hit any convoy
We are using 60 mm mortars to puncture humvees
This is a joke seriously
This real?
This... 100%And how do you know this is not happening?
Fully agree with your analogy!I will add that your have to treat the Talban the way you would the Mongols. Their local support depends on bloodlust. They do not have the capacity for systems building so to remain relevant they have to be in a perpetual state of war. This also explains ther obsession with trophies and gore. The obvious solution is to minimize their access to trophies. If thet cannot show a lot for their efforts their moral will break. Turtling while maintaining opportunistic hits will work much better for long term results than going in gung ho and giving them war trophies to parade and generate war support.

I think enough credit is not given to our intelligence agencies for the pinpoint strike on Noor Wali. What a fantastic achievement that was in recent times. All this time we were watching.80's and 90'days of legend.
