International politics (politics as a whole) is the greatest whore out there.
Trump and his family is in it to make a huge fortune and for ego (legacy). Look at his crypto investments. Also his ties to wealthy Arab states. It is all about their pockets, ego, influence etc. They don't care about the wider picture. No elites anywhere in the world does. I have personal (close relationship) to this segment of society. There are very few principled/ideologically driven people left.
Trump will only do something in regards to Palestine if he is allowed to (by the deep state, huge if) and if he can gain something from it either due to legacy/ego or money (family affairs).
Maybe, just maybe, Arab leadership need to sacrifice their pride and a bit of their money, in order for Trump to twist the hand of the Zionists/Netanyahu and somehow force upon them a two-state solution. The benefits of this will be 100 times greater than the money and energy spent.
We are past (Israel should not exist) low IQ rhetoric which is not going to occur (nuclear armed, fully supported by the US and West and now ingrained in the region). The problem was never the Jewish people as such either way (majority of them at least) because otherwise the Arab Jews (largest group of Jewish people today and the majority of Jews in Israel) would not exist. Relations were generally cordial from Al-Andalus to pre-1948 era.
If Israel is held accountable for their crimes and they recognize their errors and allow a Palestinian state and promise (huge if) not to cause trouble in the region and are ready for mutually beneficial relations with Arab states, I see no reason not to agree with this.
The alternative is permanent war, instability and which again will hamper everything and everyone and the entire region. Neither Palestinians nor Israelis are going anywher, nor the land itself.
