The core of PN's defense rests on A2/AD systems and the submarine fleet.
Except for right now most of your sub fleet is either in retrofit or being manufactured on paper.

The A2/AD has its hopes and dreams resting on ensuring air cover prevents strikes and that India is not able to get real time targeting information all the time. Your lions share of budget goes to so much non procurement related expenses in the Army of which so much is lost to inefficiency and corruption that you have little left over for the truly high ticket items that are needed to make a Navy or Air Force.

The result is you have an overbloated land army that for the most part will never be utilized to even 40% in an actual land war while the most utilized assets within the PAF and PN will be gobbled up in any large scale attrition conflict.
If you are assuming your 7-0 jets will "take care of it" - you are living in a pipe dream.

Your best bet is to hope that whatever coordination functions and plans set up between PN and PAF work out exactly as planned and A2/AD assets ensure that the dozens of IAF ships with hundreds of Brahmos simply are too afraid of taking losses at the hands of the plentiful land based and some ship based CMs and Quasi Ballistic systems - so that their plans falter while you can get a sub or two through and sink a morale linked asset like their carrier.

You have evidently missed or overlooked several less discussed or revealed aspects of the PN. I'm not saying the PN can or will overwhelm the enemy but there are surprises, many of them in cases they invade. It will be worse then 7 nil for them this time. On submarines. 1 yuan leased and 2 serving A90s are AIP. IN has no AIPs. Their nuclear subs aren't state of the art per se. One being upgraded. 2 revamped A70s with SUBTICS combat system and classified ASHM/ harpoon aren't slouches either though not frontline.
All in all, despite sgortcomings the PN is preparing without trumping.
 
Navy needs more attention in terms of equipment and technology.
Lot of work is already in pipeline but still there are spaces to fill in in order to counter enemy .

Nothing I have overlooked is not mentioned.
The Navy is much more efficient in R&D than any of those two branches - but budget matters.

What do you mean by invade?
If that means trying to cross into Pakistani waters or even close enough they already tried with their subs recently (AIP isn’t some save all trump card) but literally ran screaming when PN snuck up behind them. Which is why I mentioned earlier the PN’s ability to “hear” is greatly underestimated.

The rest is “yes it’s there” - I know the team for the local Subtics sim so it great for its specific role in the system but you’re throwing things out(which Ive already alluded to with A2/AD assets) there while forgetting what sits on the other side.

It’s not a cake walk for IN but it’s a razor thin line for the plan to work otherwise a lot could collapse very quickly.

You cannot treat a service like a third adopted child and expect them to tackle a force 8 times their size and 20 times their budget on “a lot is hidden” hopes.

I think they are gonna keep them FFBNW sadly. The F-22Ps are still sailing around with C-802s which are completely useless in our threat environment. PN just can't seem to spare funds for surface fleet.

More like 1965 where Navy found out the breakout of war on radio. Lucky for them IN wasn't really expecting naval engagement and was ill prepared. PN then voluntarily opened the naval front. Enough has been said/written about Big Brother's past belief that wars with India would only be fought on land and the air component would be there just for support. Sea would not only not come into play but would be of little to no significance.

In recent years PN has definitely not been treated as a foster child. It used to acquire almost obsolete ships from USN and Royal Navy to keep itself afloat organizationally and literally. Now PN has first hand ships and dockyard is capable of building a decent boat. More needs to be done though, but finances are a big kick in the sack. We should have had at least three to four submarines more advanced than Agost-90Bs in service right now, and it would probably have been the case if someone had not given tangrhi (tripped) U-214 negotiations in 2008. Oh well, perhaps that was for the best, considering how politically unreliable Germans are now.
 
The Pakistani navy, operating as part of the Saudi-led Combined Maritime Forces (CMF), has seized nearly $1bn worth of narcotics from two vessels sailing through the Arabian Sea.

The CMF, the naval network overseeing the operation, said in a statement on Wednesday that last week, the Pakistani navy intercepted the dhows in two separate operations over 48 hours and seized narcotics worth more than $972m

1 billion dollar is a huge amount. I wonder what’s the largest amount of drugs siezed prior to this?
