Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Was this threat from 5 hours ago a feint to distract the U.S. from the Jordan base attack? Nothing came of it (yet)

Starting to look like it they decided to up their attacks on American bases in Jordan doesn’t seem like they are going to be satisfied with eye for an eye toot for a tooth anymore

The US has been playing catch-up in this space as well. So much so they've copied the Iranian Shaheed design.

The LUCAS project was mostly because Emperor Trump cried and said why don’t we have a $50K suicide drone like Iran. It wasn’t a serious shift towards a different type of drone warfare.

Let’s be honest, the US military industrial complex and its lobby are not going to allow the U.S. budget to pivot away from HIMARS, Tomahawk, JAASM, and other future stand off munitions to low profit margin products like LUCAS. That doesn’t mean such projects won’t pop up from time to time. But like DEI, it will be to check a box rather than strategic military vision.

The US is currently using $30M+ Predator drones as one way attack drones on Iran and has sparingly used LUCAS in this conflict mostly as an after thought. As long as U.S. runs massive deficits, the U.S. military will continue to invest in overpriced weaponry.

It's a tit for tat race. You gave us the RQ-170 (which strangely has not been used yet in the war) and we gave you Shaheds (LUCAS), and now you've given us the Dive-LD so the next one will be on us!

This is one of those examples where he is right. @Yommie put it right an one point when he mentioned something along the line of firing a $1M missile to shoot down a $100 toy.

I worked on one project during the Reagan era that as soon as a building came on line for some new cruise missile program, the program was shut down a couple weeks later and the building was converted for another purpose. I could only shake my head in amazement.

Good. Gives me something to look forward to.

When I was a kid 20 years ago, I was taught online that the Jews rule the globe. That the crimes of the white man is because of the Jew. Colonization... the Jews made them do it. Empires... the Jews made them do it. The Jews got to the Spanish and French to have Empire, the Jews made them do it. Jews did 9/11, that nonsense stuff. Norad did 9/11 with the cia and mossad. The Jews were the patsy. JFK was ordered to be killed by the cia for breaking script, Jews could have been the mob used to kill JFK. Oswald was the patsy, among conspiracy theories, Jews are the patsy. Jews worked with the British Empire since the days of the Jewish Pirates of the Caribbean. Workers for the Empire. Because of 400 years of loyalty to the Empire, Jews got their Zionist entity. The Anglo-Americans want you pointing at only Jews, not Masonic Zionists in general. because Jews are the workers for their Empire, not the controllers of America.

Since 20 years ago, I grew up and grew a brain and read primary sources. The Anglo-American Establishment by Quigley. The Two Edwards by Peter Hof. I did thinking of my own, why would the Rothschilds refuse themselves seats at Parliament, if Rothschilds controlled parliament. It did not make sense. There were no major Rothschilds control the globe conspiracy crazies in the 1800s, it was Rothschilds are influential in finance that was true. So there was no reason other than the British Empire was ruled by WASPs, proven by the two books cited. It is the Anglo-American controllers that make you want to not look at the cia and the British monarchy and to instead look at the facade of Jews.

Then after growing a brain, you stop shilling for the cia and promote the idea that the Jews do not control the globe, it is been the Anglo-Americans using the Jews as workers for Empire. Israel is the outpost in the Middle East. Israel gets land, US gets the petro-dollar.

Among conspiracy theorists, the Bank of England is the mother bank of Rothschilds, owned by the Rothschilds, when it is a public bank. Before that, it was not owned by the Rothschilds, Rothschilds did the lending to the bank. Among conspiracy theorists, the City of London bankers control the bankers around the globe. Again, City of London Bankers are WASPy and masonic. Not many Jews.

Jews have been working so close with the Anglo-Americans for 400 years. That it is easy for the blaming of only Jews to be shilled by the shills. And then after getting the blame, the Jews use antisemitism to silence criticism.

Step one: Blame the Jews as the only controllers of the globe and behind Anglo-American policy of colonialism in the Middle East since 1900.

Step Two: Say you cannot blame the Jews because of the holohoax.

Step three: Criticism is silenced.

If I told you the neocons remained and trump is another neocon agent, you would not believe me, because of the shills are so numerous. Neoconservatism began with the Second Chechen War. The false flag apartment bombings in Russia by the FSB. Then it was repeated again and again. Wars on Muslims countries and nations.

It is telling how the trumpers believe the Jews control the globe, that is the maga movement, blame the Jews. Then Muslims are told trump is only controlled by Jews, not working for a Pax Americana. Which is it. You see, cia shills lie to different groups to herd the masses into stupidity.

This made no sense at all.

It’s well known that the Israeli Harop and Iranian Shahed were based off this German prototype that never went into service. A Cold War era R&D solution. Iranian’s were merely the only ones that decided it was worth making it to mass production and a focal point of their defense strategy, maybe due to military budget constraints.

Again this goes back to the military industrial complex arguement. When the military arms manufacturers have too much power in your procurement cycle, then it’s not innovative ideas that win out, but many times the one that has the most political strings attached to it.

Your experience still holds true today. I talked to a defense engineer once for one of the big companies and he said many times he would be overruled by guys brought in who were either former retired military or just MBA suits and who would have no engineering background and would have absurd demands to the point it was just annoying working there.

I do think what dooms many militaries and successful campaigns is not the lack of innovation, but the flawed qualities of a human (hubris, arrogance, and ego) that get in the way of that innovation from seeing the light of day.

I will give you an example, Hitler thought that nuclear fission was a fools errand and quack science. So he pulled many of the brightest German scientists working on that project to work on his other Wonder Weapon projects. Ironically, if Hitler did nothing or actually doubled down on nuclear fission research then Germany might have had a nuclear weapon before anyone else and won the war. Instead they blew enormous amounts of resources on various high tech projects that either couldn’t change the battlefield or were too late and costly.

Speaking of drones, another Long II allegedly shot down over Yemen although I cannot be certain how true this is

NOTE: IRGC navy claims have lately been not trust worthy (particularly of ships hitting mines).

So id take this news as fake until proven otherwise. Seems to me Iran ended up not attacking any tankers tonite (maybe the PGCC Arabs called and offered another plane full of gold/cash)?

Full agreement. Was more than a couple occasions over the course of my career where I exited a few MBAs with zero experience out of my office because they didn't know what they were talking about.
