They are excellent climbers and alot of times carry baggage of others who pay them to do so.

I know 4 of them are Sherpas... however they don't seem to have enough clients/ climbers to warrant so many of them.

Pakistani guide leading an American climber, and one additional, non-Pakistani climber whose name and nationality has not been released alongside a Chinese, Omani and an additional five Nepali citizens were reported to have lost communications with base came during an avalanche whilst on their ascent of Broad Peak in Pakistan.

Pakistan Army rescue teams have so far recovered two bodies, identification of the remains is underway.

Imagine the cost associated with Pakistani Army getting involved in this extremely expensive and time consuming rescue effort. It is outrageous. Who pays for all of this?

Yes, families are involved of the deceased and the rest, but these climbers understand the risks associated with climbing such colossal mountains. An accident is always a real possibility. You are dealing with nature. Climbing such colossal mountains is simply put an incredibly risky business. When you succeed people hail your effort. When you fail it is often the end. That is the bitter reality.

Pakistan should at the very very least have some sort of alpine rescue team like in most nations. They should be equipped and have proper training. It doesn't make sense for soldiers to carry out rescue missions.

Brother, in your news story I am reading that the rescue mission was carried out by the Pakistani army. This needs to stop.
