Province of course it's the total GDP. Per capita is for the people.
So why did you highlight GDP per capita? Tibet with 3mil people obviously is not going to have a big economy.
Would you say Beijing is poorer than Anhui because it has lower GDP?

Maybe you don't know much about Chinese geography,Beijing is a city, Anhui is a provine. I just stated two facts in the title. When I say US is the richest country in the world, everyone knows I mean the country, not per capita wise.So why did you highlight GDP per capita? Tibet also happens to be one of the poorest in China in all aspects, and I say it again, I stated two facts in the title, they are both true. That's also because the US also happens to be extremely wealthy per capita-wise, far higher than any other major economy.

20th is pretty backward, again, why you keep at nothing here, I stated two facts, they are both true, just like the chart itself shows several data at same time, what made you so upset about it?You sure in all aspects? Your own graph says otherwise. Its GDP per capita is still ranked 20th out of 31 provinces.

You go to China and ask every Chinese where is the poorest place in China, and see what they answer you. it's common sense in China. How is 20th out of 31 'one of poorest' in all aspects?
I'm not upset lol. I just find your title contradictory. You talked about GDP per capita in the title, but then refer to total GDP as a measure. It gives off the impression that Tibet has the lowest GDP per capita.

The title states two facts, they are both true, just like the chart itself shows several data. The facts are both true, as for how you relate them, that's your business.

"Norway's GDP per capita surpasses $90K for the first time, but it's still poorer than the Philippines."
"Hong Kong's GDP per capita surpasses $55K for the first time, but it's still poorer than Bangladesh."
It's two different measures. Anyone reading that can obviously point out the logical inconsistency.
Chinese PCI is less than 14K. So Tibet with 10K plus is not far behind national average.
14K is still considered a not well off province, as for Tibet, it enjoys the highest GDP growth in China, double digits for the most of the past 2 decades, truly impressive if you know the harsh environment in that region.Chinese PCI is less than 14K. So Tibet with 10K plus is not far behind national average.
