Maybe you don't know much about Chinese geography,Beijing is a city, Anhui is a provine. I just stated two facts in the title. When I say US is the richest country in the world, everyone knows I mean the country, not per capita wise.

That's also because the US also happens to be extremely wealthy per capita-wise, far higher than any other major economy.

No one is going to say Vietnam is richer than Norway just because Vietnam has a larger economy lol.

I'm not upset lol. I just find your title contradictory. You talked about GDP per capita in the title, but then refer to total GDP as a measure. It gives off the impression that Tibet has the lowest GDP per capita.

14K is still considered a not well off province, as for Tibet, it enjoys the highest GDP growth in China, double digits for the most of the past 2 decades, truly impressive if you know the harsh environment in that region.
