Noooo! You know nothing about China! Go ask any Chinese about China's poorest province and get some basic facts!
Instead of asking Indians, you can also refer the internet or AI answers if you can't make it to China.

In a couple of years, Tibet will cross the high income threshold, quite remarkable for a region which still practiced slavery and serfdom barely 70 years ago.

Because of the fiscal transfer system, the gap between the provinces is not really too wide.

I'm guessing you want to talk about the Da Liang Shan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, the poorest region in China.

You mean them, don't you? The Daliangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, the poorest region in all of China, bar none, with a per capita GDP of only $6,400.

Still a long way to go as many other provinces are still poorer.

The GDP per capita in the Tibet Autonomous Region reached CNY 81,502 (about USD 11,986) in 2025

This year it will pass USD 12,000.

$1,000 GDP per capita increase each passing year, a miraculous growth even in China.
