True. Lots of people I spoke to said all the deported came back later anyway and perhaps even more.
The locals complaining that they back. Then stop employing them as cheap labour.

Pakistanis are already cheap labour. How much cheaper do they want it?![]()
Pakistani labor has been fleeing to the Gulf and were substituted by Afghans. Now that the Afghans are being expelled, it is having a negative impact on many industries like construction who are struggling to find both manual and skilled labor. Its not like every person in Pakistan actually wants to work.Pakistanis are already cheap labour. How much cheaper do they want it?![]()
There's 200+ million people in the country. There is chronic unemployment.Pakistani labor has been fleeing to the Gulf and were substituted by Afghans. This retired ambassador is a useless fool.

Thats just a number. Businessess in Pakistan are perennially struggling to hire and retain the right people, because the country's education system foolishly prioritized doctors and engineers when in reality an econony needs all sorts of workers. Afghan manual and skilled labor was helping in replacing valuable Pakistani labor which has been aggressively headhunted by GCC for last 40 years. There's 200+ million people in the country. There is chronic unemployment.
There is no shortage of labour.
Pakistan's overpopulation , teensy weensy economy and zero workers rights are what lowered wages. It wasnt Afghans. Wages in Pakistan were terrible long before 1980.BS. There is no shortage, afghanis just worked for lower wages. And if afghanis going back increases wages then good.
Who hires Kabari, rairi walay, dukandaar, and so on? Who checks taxi drivers license or CNIC? It's the state's job to enforce immigration laws. Otherwise what is it good for? Can't provide electricity, so people got solar, can't provide water so long live tanker mafia, can't provide gas so the zalalat of cylinders, can't provide security so begs for aman Lashkar. Now can't even deport tandoor Wala? The locals complaining that they back. Then stop employing them as cheap labour.

Update on this.Pakistan’s Embassy and Consulates in Afghanistan have been issuing an unsustainable 240,000 visas a year for some years. It is time to end that, to be replaced by in- person interviews, otherwise we will only be recycling the overall problem, particularly its security aspects
Update on this.
In-person interviews are in. Afghans are screaming across the border. Calling it "torture and humiliation". Lolz

I understand the security and economic arguments. However, an Afghan child born and raised in Pakistan is an Afghan only on paper. There should be a route for him/her to attain Pakistani citizenship, after satisfying the host country's concerns as required.
What happens if they are anti-Pakistani and are going to cause terrorism and commit crime in Pakistan? We need to put our own people first. Not foreigners.
