Afghan women / Girls bar from education and job.

Doesn't include the vast amount of casual relationships and general fuckery
The Taliban are clear women's education has created a generation of delusional women in the world and that has had a consequence on the family

Muslim society to overcome this must keep the family and community strong above others

What nonsense

Stop embarrassing yourself and all of us too

Taliban are barring women from education because of their own tribal nonsense and not because of religious decree. Stop trying to justify that can't be justified

I'm not justifying Talibans ban, in telling you why they are doing what they are doing, what their reasoning is, not that I agree with it

I'm also literally showing you what's happening in the west and the world , all this will play out over the coming decades, when large proportions of women in the west in the 40s will bw single and childless and marriage rates will decline further

If you can't see it, your blind

Between the burka and being one of 4, and nights out and the tinder lifestyle..

Lies a sane middle ground

People/cultures are not all black and white.

Better than killing them through highest rate of female infanticide in the world and raping them with highest rate of rape of those that make it through....
It is my prvillage that senior member like you gave such enlightened response to my post. 🙏🏽

So when are you starting movement to ban woman education in Pakistan or whichever county you reside.

@Baadil bro this is in direct conflict with the news you put up.

So females are in fact banned from education.

For posters who are interested why I ask this. Now and in the future Afghan women will ask for a female physician to see to their needs during a medical appointment. Now where will they come from if they have banned all female education?
Isn't this leaving their Islamic responsibility to women?

Their probably was a middle ground at some point, but the line that represents the middle has been moving and Instagram, tik Tok, rampant social media, feminism and feminist delusions have kicked it to one side

Hijab and even burka was supposed to act like a shield alongside family and values to keep women and the family strong

The Taliban are wrong to take such a strict line but steps need to be taken to ensure society slipping into cess pool

this guy is sitting in UK while spewing such absolute nonsense

frightening !
What is frightening? UK deserves them after all what they did to India.

You are fighting loosing battle brother. Someone rightly said religions don’t gets judged by what is written in the books but by actions of the followers.

I am pretty sure Islam is not prohibiting woman getting education but Taliban say their action is islamic and you see so called educated muslim living in west supporting Taliban action.

European Muslims are by far the most insane Muslims out there. The likes of them would be immediately executed or imprisoned in the Gulf countries.

Buddy when you live here, you realize what the fcuks happening to these people

You live amongst and work with mostly non Muslim white people (depending on where you are)

You can like them as individuals, but they have messed their social lives up badly, and all you have to do is listen..

Listen to the delusions of the women here,
The reality that in a open sexual market place the best looking men have the most options and are screwing around with as many women as possible, that's leaving these women not only with a bench mark that the average men in the west can't reach, but delusions that mean they feel like they are settling for less when with the average man.
Social media then supercharges these delusions and expectations and women are divorcing in a society where divorce tends to favor women and where men can be rinsed.

Education is great, but education mixed with feminist delusions can have a societal effect that's can destroy the family

The Taliban have felt the best way to counter this is to end education for women completely.
this is wrong, wrong in Islam and has no sanction
keeping women ignorant is a solution sure but it creates different sorts of problems

however we need to address not only the quality of education, but how we are raising our children and what values , faith and culture we are instilling in them and the social culture prevalent in colleges and universities

Asalam alaikum my bro. Regarding the following post, shared an article by VOA mentioning high school graduates:

Kabul:
Afghan universities were declared off limits to women because female students were not following instructions including a proper dress code, the Taliban's minister for higher education said Thursday.

The ban announced earlier this week is the latest restriction on women's rights in Afghanistan ordered by the Taliban since their return to power in August last year.

It has drawn global outrage, including from Muslim nations who deemed it against Islam, and from the Group of Seven industrialized democracies who said the prohibition may amount to "a crime against humanity".

But Neda Mohammad Nadeem, the minister for higher education in the Taliban government, insisted Thursday that women students had ignored Islamic instructions -- including on what to wear or being accompanied by a male relative when travelling.

"Unfortunately after the passing of 14 months, the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Islamic Emirate regarding the education of women were not implemented," Nadeem said in an interview on state television.

"They were dressing like they were going to a wedding. Those girls who were coming to universities from home were also not following instructions on hijab."

Nadeem also said some science subjects were not suitable for women. "Engineering, agriculture and some other courses do not match the dignity and honour of female students and also Afghan culture," he said.

ISLAMABAD —
The Taliban have reportedly allowed female high school graduates in Afghanistan to enroll in state-run medical institutes for the new academic year that begins in March.

The enrollment process has begun in more than a dozen Afghan provinces, following a directive from the Ministry of Public Health in Kabul, the Taliban-run official Bakhtar news agency said Tuesday. It provided no further information.
Afghan Watch comments on the dissemination of this news on social media:
Possible reason for the promotion of the new measure
It is possible that the Taliban approved and amplified the measure ahead of the meeting of Special Envoys on Afghanistan in Doha, Qatar, as a move to demonstrate the group was making progress on girls’ education (and to pre-empt the anticipated criticism on the topic).

The UN-led meeting, which took place over 18 and 19 February, brought together envoys from 25 countries, the EU, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, as well as representatives from Afghan civil society, to discuss the evolving situation in Afghanistan, since the Taliban’s takeover, and possible avenues for international engagement with the regime.

The Taliban did not send a special envoy to the meeting, as the group objected to the participation of other representatives from Afghanistan, claiming that their participation would be “unbeneficial” if the UN did not see them as the sole representatives of Afghanistan. Moreover, the Taliban also demanded a meeting with the UN Secretary-General, which Antonio Guterres claimed would “to a large extent” amount to recognition of the regime, a position the UN was unprepared to take. Instead, a UN undersecretary-general for political and peacebuilding affairs met separately with a representative from the Taliban’s political office in Doha. The conference ended with consensus on goals that the Taliban must meet – including women and girls’ right to education – but limited progress on how the international community should engage with Afghanistan’s de facto authorities.

Another possible reason behind the announcement to allow women and girls to enrol in public medical institutes across 11 provinces was the desire to minimise clashes between differing viewpoints within the Taliban community. In October 2023 a group of Afghans and human rights activists used AI-generated images depicting women and girls being treated my male doctors, going against traditional Afghan customs and sensibilities. The campaign aimed to urge the Taliban to allow women and girls to study medicine, in order to fulfil essential roles and maintain Afghan customs in society. Whilst there were a few vocal opponents, some pro-Taliban users with significant follower counts on X were observed supporting the initiative.

However, AW note that, despite the recent announcement to permit enrolments in selected provinces, there was no evidence to suggest they could not already do so. On 18 November 2023, Abdul Bari Omar, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Food and Drug Administration, shared a video clip from his trip to Cologne, Germany, in which he claims that medical institutes remained open for women and girls in Afghanistan. In the clip, he also says that 40 percent of the Ministry of Public Health’s staff members were women. AW has been unable to confirm this statistic.

How the likes of you evade refutation of your worldview as religious discussions are banned from the forum, just as you evaded in the previous forum. Even though the forum is centric on a country whose foundational ideology is self-proclaimed as religious.

@Waz bro even if you may agree with the post, I hope you understand the principle I'm trying to highlight here.

What place on earth is to your liking then ? Saudia maybe ? I have heard stories from UAE and Iranian folk about how young people go around these societal challenges they face, most innovative.

There may a greater level of all this "vice" and "haram" stuff in the west but its everywhere. Can't turn back the clock, warna to US bhi ek zamaney m bhot conservative hua karda tha.

Gotta roll with the times, good or bad. Parenting and community is key, and this is true for European people too.

Kya galat bola hai ?

Topic is Afghanistan, their society and their outlook/worldview and how it is for women there.. which is roundly criticized by many Muslims too.

This is not a religious discussion, this is culture very specific to Afghanistan.
