After PL-15 Now PL-10 HOBS Also Deployed By PAF !

Yes - that is the J10CE.
Technically speaking, the avionics of the JF-17 B3 has reached the level of 4+. The JF-17 B3 has no problem to use the PL10 and PL15, and it is easy to ‘A-fire, B-guide’ between the JF-17 B3 and the J10C.

After more adaptation and testing, PAF pilots can develop new PAF air tactics based on PLAAF tactical guidance. This will take some time.

The key question is whether or when PAF will release these messages and images.

But this is the thread for block 3 JF-17 and PL15 +PL10? Why you post J10C with PL15 everyone knows PAF 's J10C have a PL15?
Now you are going to tell me what this thread is about, did you read the OP.
This is what happens when you wash the soap before hands.

J10C has certainly helped PAF modernize their force
New Long range missile and short range missile

Seems like a big boost for Airforce

Hopefully PAF continue to grow the J10C and JF17 Block III fleet further
To further reduce dependence on F7 and Mirage

And the F-16s.

Would love to see the next iteration of the JF-17; the “PFX”, feature the WS-19 with at least the same thrust as the F-16 Block 15’s F100-PW-220 turbofan: static thrust of 14,590 lbf (64.9 kN) in military (intermediate) power and 23,770 lbf (105.7 kN) afterburning. The added thrust should be able to impart more energy to the missiles, as the plan can recover its energy with its higher thrust engine in the course of maneuvers.

The older F-16s will need to be retired soon enough. Lining up a domestic replacement will also end the psychological hold of still seeing the F-16 as the primer fight of the PAF. Moving beyond the F-16, especially with the acquisition of the J-10 and eventually the J-31 should hopefully close that chapter of thinking, in any way, our Air Force has its hands tied.

Btw, a similar design for the PFX (with the WS-19 engine) to that propose for the US next Gen light fighter (with the Pelikan Tail) should be what the PAF should be aiming for. Hopefully with an internal bay large enough to carry two PL-15s and two smaller bays for PL-10s, but if not. Even as a 4.5 gen fighter, with external carriage of missiles, it will still be a very capable design, similar to version of the KF-21 without an internal weapons bay is still very capable.

Theoretically, could the JF-17 carry 6 PL-15s and 2 PL-10s, with its current engines and still retain a decent amount of manageability? Could a 20% more powerful engine make a significant change to that parameter?
