In the past two years, ASML has exported a large number of lithography machines to China. China may have stockpiled enough equipment and replacement parts to wait for the domestic EUV to mature. One piece of evidence is that ASML's orders from China have dropped sharply since the beginning of this year.

Yes but that means the drop of ASML order is more due to stockpiling in the previous years + restriction for ASML to export to China, not due to that SMEE has equivalent to replace ASML DUV already.

There are still 1-2％ components of SSA-800 are not indigenous, mostly from Japan. It seems that the US has just figured out recently, hence they asked Japan to cut off the remaining supplies to hinder China.

But this immersion DUV has been working into the production line since January 2024.

By next year, the SSA-800 should achieve 100％ indigenous components.
