I don't think that's how it panned out tbf

My reading... The Tories were sick of labour throwing it in their faces about labour being less diverse , plus they had to increase their base with some minority or go extinct, so it was pragmatism

Picking out an old trick in the colonial book they sought minorites they could co-opt, so Indian Gujaratis or high income Indians were an ideal choice, various obvious reasons

Ugandan Indians particularly useful



The Tory elders,also no doubt have a thing for almost authoritarian right wing ethnic conservative women, Preeti and suella I have seen first hand get a very very warm response

I can relate to dealing with a doctor whose English is poor. My only take is that it is preferable to having no doctor.

If immigration is an issue UK would not be allowing lower class British Pakistanis to be marrying Pakistanis and bringing them in

UK does not have too many world class companies. ARM is the only exception - they have more employees in India and USA

The importation of low quality females via arranged marriage has been shut.

The “no access to public services” rule and health insurance means poorly educated men can no longer bring in poorly educated women.

As for no doctor - that is no longer a problem. There’s a surplus of doctors now.
