No one denies this, it's mostly trueYou cannot stop companies from offshoring jobs because these companies don’t exclusively serve the US market. They operate globally, handling projects in places like Singapore, South Africa, and beyond. Capital is free to move across the world, and these companies will create jobs where it makes the most sense economically. Even if political or social pressure arises, they might rebrand their operations—for instance, spinning off an Indian division and calling it "ABM" instead of IBM.
The fact that India has succeeded in creating a robust market for its IT professionals while Pakistan or Bangladesh hasn’t speaks volumes about India's foresight and execution in this field. It’s not just about exporting IT talent; it’s about building an ecosystem—training, placement, and marketing—that has allowed India to dominate this space. Criticizing this success overlooks the structural differences that have allowed India to thrive while others lag behind.
But whats your read on the backlash and reaction
