Terrorism is already an act of war. Diverting the Indus waters is simply India responding in kind. Whether pakistan calls it an act of war or not changes nothing, we are already at war with Pakistan.

Worst case scenario what will happen? Nuclear kabooms and every one dies? Is that worse than just you going alone?

There is a difference between a power that can sustain a war effort on its own- funding, arms manufacturing- and a beggar who will run out of both.

You've never really controlled the escalation ladder, when you were about to go nuclear if India pressed on. The rush to a ceasefire says a lot.
