Reports suggest that Pak/China can pitch twin seat variant of JF-17, called JF-17B, to Kazakhstan. After the successful deal of JF-17 Block 3s with Azerbaijan, multiple other nations have expressed their interest in the very system.

PAC/CAC have not produced any twin-seat Bravos since 2020 and those were all Block-2 Bravos.

We've not seen any test platforms of Block-3 Bravos to date.

I assume it'll have to be a substantial order from PAF and AAF to justify production of Block-3 Bravos?

Much of Block 3 architecture was already present in the Bravos. It was missing a few components such as the AESA radar but otherwise was very similar. Its possible all Bravo were quietly upgraded to Block 3 standard

Last time they started producing Bravos, they spent considerable amount of time and effort rejigging the assembly lines.

Two early versions were produced in 2017: 17-601 for the PAF and 17-07 for MAF (claims are there are 2 with MAF).

After this, there was a 2 year gap before 19-602 and onwards were produced in 2019 and 2020. When time came to start production of Block-3, again there was a 2 year gap as the assembly lines had to be rejigged back for the Alphas.

Assuming, Azerbaijan orders 12 Block-3 Thunders this year and 4 of them are Bravos, Alphas are likely to be produced in 2025 and at the same time couple of assembly lines are rejigged for Bravos. That would mean Bravos won't be produced until 2026.

Just my assumptions.

I wonder if PAF's No 16 Squadron "Black Panther " has been assigned the task of helping Azerbaijan Air Force induct its JF-17 units. And possibly the first Azerbaijan unit to stand up is No 10 squadron. ??

Regarding this part, Pakistan has for example offered ToT and local production of Fatah-1 and Fatah-2 in Azerbaijan, per the CEO of GIDS.
