Azerbaijan’s school hijab ban: What’s behind it, and what’s next?

[RocketLaw]

Freedom for the Hijab - woman's own choice

English Translation:
In one of Azerbaijan's schools, the non-hijabi girls took off their sweaters in support of their hijabi classmates, as they chanted the phrase
"Freedom for the hijab"

Can she count on it in matters of honor killing and inheritance?

Interior Sindh is not whole of Pakistan, it is just may be the most backward places of all.

Women are not raped and killed in other countries?

The below is generally the automatic response from Pakistanis when they see a woman in distress.

"Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Group Captain Asim Tariq was shot dead in Islamabad on July 5, 2026, after intervening to rescue a woman from an alleged abduction attempt."

And so it should be

The mistake is backing off

When you have enemies like hindutva or Zionists or white supremacists What's the point in backing off???

When you have militant atheist's or Communists or murtads you can't be weak

The Muslim world is rising, it will rise again and we have to be ready and hateful if our enemies

Muslims have plenty of minorities to target if our populations are harmed

Let me get this straight Muslims in Muslim countries are targeted by non Muslims and so you will target non Muslims in Muslim countries as Muslims are raising. This is the best logic I have heard recently

The classic dichotomy of oppression and revolution...
The people's voice raises up in a revolution and strong arm of the state flexes in oppression... orienting them for the priorities of a few.

Aliyev becomes hero of those whom he serves and villain for eternity. At least you know where he stands...

[Starlord]

English Translation:
I had said that this matter in Azerbaijan would go as far as overthrowing Aliyev. There are no Shiite origins within the Azerbaijani army; they are all Sunni Muslims. Either the Azerbaijani army overthrows Aliyev, or otherwise, South Azerbaijani Shiites intervene in Azerbaijan, and internal peace is utterly destroyed. The Shiites are waiting for the Azeris.

The video looks AI.

Of course it is.

There is zero possibility for the kind of revolution you would hope for, just saying. Vast majority are simply not from that base.

True.
However, the oppression still holds true even if people do not vie for a revolution.
Everyone still came out of Soviet Union... most still live their past... the names still the way Soviets reworked.

The worst thing is that no one wants this to be done for their own... their own daughters hustling to have a roof over their head.. worse put themselves out in the market... but for the faceless masses in the name of progress or some other lofty ideals devoid of reality pushed as either a worthwhile burden or relief from status quo...

But as you said... they don't even come out of that legacy... ones wearing a head covering have done so because of conviction... the government had no such demands... so why make them remove?
