BLA is operationally overhyped (still capable though), but TTP is far stronger, the main goal of BLA is high profile optics and to emphasise its presence publicly. 80% of the reason they can pull off what they do is because they have huge local support and the investment in online media creates a feedback loop of confidence in them and their ideology (Baloch separatism)

For their sponsors UAE, India, Afghanistan, etc - a major part of is to just keep Balochistan deeply unstable where it can't have any meaningful political/infrastructure development and just embarass Pakistan as an unstable/unsafe country.

Incompetence & failure of ISI and security services to getrid of this menace till now. They does not even look like weakened. Every new attack is more powerful then before. No breakthroughs done from security forces yet. It is heights of incompetence literally. Security forces can't even control flow of weapons yet. Imagine if India would have had a direct border with Baluchistan. It would have gone long ago.
The problem is no one in Pakistan can do accountability of army. No one can Fire Generals on security lapses, no one can check if their focus in on doing their job Or their focus is on politics or making wealth. Until and unless the Generals remains without any checks & accountability, the ordinary people and jawans will keep laying their lives.

I think it really depends on the person who is leading it all, i.e., Asim Munir and some of his crooks, since the men who literally broke the back of all these Baloch separatist uprisings, TTP, criminal mafia, ISIS-K, etc., were Panjabi generals -> General Tikka Khan and General Raheel Sharif.

They are not able to hold anything for long. It's small cells that co-ordinate at the same time pulling off minor actions like robbing a bank with flags in their hands. A major part of it is recording it for propaganda and bulding public confidence in them & their ideology.

It's really not hard to do what they do when you have mass public support.

To be operationally capable would be to hold territory, attack high value military targets, which TTP does a lot better. Whereas 50% of BLAs ops are designed to be massive social media crazes. Even their target selection is chosen for that (like the train attack)

I used to Participate in BLA twitter spaces.
I saw a 180 degree change of opinion in them from Militancy to going into political movement , when Mahrung was still out , talking and people were listening to her.
They actually started doing Twitter spaces in Urdu, they would engage with us, share their thoughts about what is the problem and whats the solution they want.
After Mahrung arrest, its all gone , and its gone back to Militancy.
The Dum Dums at GHQ dont understand how to engage the people.

My gut feelings is the Pak forces have changed their doctrines regarding WOT. The IBOs are resulting in non-contact attacks (via robotic means) on these scums with "take no prisoners" as an SOP....
